Taking the advert down doesn’t necessarily mean the job was filled. I did it many times at work, when circumstances changed mid recruitment, I pulled the plug.

Lose today and they have picked up 46 points from 30 matches. That's 70 if you believe that they could have picked up 25 from the first 16 matches that Stuart got 13 points from, which I don't.

 

yep, which is why I added that it was taken down whilst doing well. If it had been removed during the downturn I’d understand that we might no longer need to fill it as we were planning on returning them, but not when we were still doing well

 

I hope so, however, hopefully they stay and return to the youth team set up, they at least deserve that

 

Hmm even for me 5 defeats in 6 is poor. i cannot blame sparks for giving them a 2 year contract mind.

Luckily it was only 18 months and the pay was £2.50 and a mars bar. I would wager they probably get paid less combined than most other managers in L2 on their own. Cheap to move back sideways.

I always said that the end of the season was the time to judge.

We shouldn't be keeping these 2 at the helm for next season. Not a chance. There are far, far better options.

 

I just can't see them selling many season tickets with these two at the helm. People have got out of the habit of attending, times are harder, the football on offer is shocking. There's little to persuade people beyond the price. Even I, a ST holder since the cheap ones first went on sale, are struggling to see myself attending once a fortnight with these two still in charge. I'd rather pay more, watch less live games and find something else to do on a Saturday afternoon. I'm not wasting my time when the enjoyment and entertainment is substandard, whatever the price.
