Senior players like Watt?! Biker he is a young lad and thats part of the problem, we have had no midfield general to help take the pressure off him. He had been a virtual ever present whilst the rest of his midfield colleagues have been unavailable - yes his performances have tailed off but I think it is just too easy to lay the blame on him

Watt is not a senior player, he's 21 and in his first full professional season. If you are arguing T&S are young and still learning, I'd say the same applies to Watt.

He’s not that young he should be in his prime at 21, I actually thought he was a bit older the way he has been huffing and puffing round the pitch. Said for a long time we are missing a Gary Jones type in there

I’m saying don’t blame the managers many of the players signed before they were appointed haven’t lived up to the hype.

Of the three that did so well together in Watt, Cooke and Sutton, Watt now looks the weak link. I'm one that predicted big things after watching his first few games, now i'm scratching my head wondering what he does well. His ball retention is poor and if he can't stamp his authority in games like today or against the likes of Grimsby or Crawley when is he going to? Can't really call him a senior player though at 20 years old.

21 is not a senior player however you dress it up! general fitness of the players at the club is a whole different issue and one that needs looking at urgently

I'm not blaming anyone individually. Collectively, there is still an awful lot of work to do.

Is Watt a senior player? He’s 20 years old and it’s his first season in professional football except a short loan spell last season.

He is 21 so still young, he’s a regular in the side not a reserve, that was my point

That would do for me right now, getting us out of this league. Parky improved our league position each season I think I am correct in saying, he was a good fit for our football club and still would be.

He certainly needs to improve, he has the odd good game and shows potential but seems to disappear in games. He could do with starting by ignoring what ever his dad and brother tell him as apparently they always give him advice, which I can only think is keep trying Hollywood balls and losing possession. He should start by going back to basics and keeping things simple.

Yup I get that and it is a fair point - but I think in truth Watt has suffered a bit by being an ever present. The rest have suffered injuries and suspensions and, for eg, it could be argued Cooke's value has risen since he has been out of the team. He was in a rich vein of form before his injury but I recall him getting some pelters on here. No doubt Watt has tailed off but as a 20 year old he has outgunned all our other midfield option by some way in terms of appearances

Team selection is a worry with Clarke and Vernom in the same team, It is worrying also they cannot see how unbalanced the team is leaving gaps all over the place, Not good enough

Stuart coming back was a bigger lift, we need more than that.
We need mass investment from the owner given to a proven manager who knows how to spend it at this level

Watt has been poor lately, but I feel a bit sorry for him. We're not exactly a side who play to his strengths and today the ball spent more time flying over his head than on the deck. He's also still young and probably needs an older head next to him to help him along in certain situations. An area and type of player that we've neglected to sign for far too long.

Everyone needs to remember it was never going to be a quick fix. Having a L1 relegation squad takes time to fix, and a bounce back was always very unlikely. We should be grateful to even be in the position we are now. Just ignore Bolton and Tranmere who are 3rd and 5th in their 1st season down here...or routine strugglers Morecambe who sit between them. Just look at Plymouth, it's their second season down here an- oh wait, nevermind.

Our 3rd season in this division is to come and I have zero faith in this squad or management duo to have any sort of success. However, I do trust that Ryan knows we're shit and will look to improve us over the summer. We would need a huge overhaul to compete. I'd only keep Cooke and Crankshaw, and maybe sign Cook. Kian and FCD kept on as prospects but definitely not starter material.

We look unfit and no energy and any teams can seem to go right through us. Our defenders also look very slow and no pace.....

We just can’t shake the defensive mentality and don’t have players good enough to attack. It’s all so familiar to the start of the season. Canavan out for the remainder, will see the defence at sixes and sevens again. I thought we needed 4 or 5 but it’s more like another half dozen. I’m pleased the club aren’t talking about contracts. Gives me hope that Wood, AOC, Ismail, Pritchard, Clarke et al won’t be here next season. We need a big improvement in quality.
