Is he injured or just out of favour?

Grayson said after the Shrewsbury game that he wasn't in the match day squad because he didn't think the game would suit him (hard tackling, etc).

The players in the team obviously performed very well, and no changes were made against Portsmouth; given we then won 3-1, I'm not expecting Law to suddenly appear in the team unless there are injuries.

Find a formula, stick with it.

Yes totally agree. Unless he's going to play on the left instead of Robinson I don't see him fitting in.

Grayson more than likely sick of watching us being bullied every week so puts out his most physical team. Certainly worked the last two games. Got to play to your strengths i suppose, no point in trying to play over expansive football when your team and the pitch aren't up to it.

I know Guy is a loanee but alongside Dieng they form in my opinion the best midfield combination I've seen play this season.
Never been a big fan of the Crab.

Agree with that. I thought Dieng had a decent game on Tuesday. His heading was precise, instead of coming off at angles, and he tackled well.

You can't call nicky law the crab. But it's true. I remember like it was last year, people like myself complaining that law was going sideways way too much on c&b by the happy clapper's.

Law hasn't helped himself nor has him being stuck out on f##king wing. Mccall's fault.

    No goals though.

Makes us more solid but I would like us to sign and all about midfielder who can score goals.

Totally disagree, at the beginning of the season Law and Reeves were pulling the strings superbly.

Best I've seen by a mile.

These "all round" midfielders are a bit of a myth..

You have attacking midfielders who play as a second forward.. and you have defensive midfielders. You very rarely get a midfielder that does both.. and if you do they're not found in league 1

There's a few box to box types. Gary Jones was a good example. More defensive through age when he came to us but scored a bunch in his prime.

Best example of an all round midfielder - our very own Stuart McCall, phenomenal player in his prime, never had anyone to compare since.
I feel sorry for our fans that never saw him play.

You clearly didn't go to the Shewsbury game then.

If you think The Crab and The Italian Traffic Cop were doing a good job that's fine by me.

    Law has something to offer.

If you're holding out, or preserving a lead - then Law is your man. Rarely concedes possession, and can slow the game down, nicely.
But ......... If you are chasing a game, or wanting to Win from the start - then Law stays on the bench, IMHO.
