What’s he done to deserve a chance? I don’t wanna be taking chances on some PR novice businessman. We’re 2nd bottom of the football league, looking high likely we’ll be relegated come May. Sorry but any man giving that fraud a contract extension doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt.

 

The issue is, who would want to buy us in a pandemic? Especially when Rupp wants £10m for a club who don't even own their own stadium, catering, training ground. No idea what he's valuing at the club as the squad is worthless.

We as fans just have to keep spreading the news and protest in hope someone out there see's it.

If he’d have come in and sacked the manager, appointed a new one along with a director of football/someone whose gonna run the recruitment side, then I’d have gotten on board. But his first major decision is to give the manager a new contract despite everything. Clearly out of his depth, we’re in the last chance saloon in terms of saving our football league status, now is not the time to give a chronically under qualified PR kid a CEO position. I have zero sympathy for him, he took the job, he didn’t have to.

 

Interesting that you're expecting a permanent signing or two - I can't see that happening given that we won't be signing free agents. I guess if someone is allowed to leave, but those sorts of transfers you'd be looking to get on a short term deal anyway. Can't see a lad getting cut from Barnsley and getting a three year deal.

Loans probably aren't overly fussed who is managing or how long term their appointment is as long as there's a sniff of first team football. They might enquire about the situation maybe ask for reassurance, but that's about it.

I don't think the length of McCall's contract is going to make much serious difference to our recruitment drive in January, which I would guess is going to be another miserable failure.
