    I am very suspicious of this as Crewe had one of there regular defenders missing. I hope there is an investigation and the EFL throw the book at them!!

    It beggars belief that the player had
    "symptons" so had a test, but still
    travelled thinking he won't have it
    and probably gave it to team mates
    in the process. SNP MP just as stupid,
    she needs to go and other people take
    note!

    On testing at this level if clubs cannot afford is it not about time the players went to the PFA and demanded they do something to protect them? They are being asked to play on during this pandemic with no real support now. Fine we all are as workers but it’s like a footballer can work from home for example.

    The pfa pay its chief executive 2 million a year. They have a lot of money and need to step up and protect their members. Could they not fund all tests for this season for those that need it? Maybe take a little bit extra back over the next few season to pay it back but what are they actually doing currently?

    Spot on How. I wrote to Dave Baldwin on just this last week. The PFA have £55 mill in the bank and their Charter specifically calls on them to protect their members.
    I calculated that 72 EFL clubs with 50 tests each every week for 15 weeks (let's hope no longer at this stage) would cost £5.4 mill at £100 a shot or 10% of their Bank balance which goes up all the time with what they collect from members. Not heard back yet.

    That's a very healthy bank account for any football body, including most clubs. Not bad for a registered charity!

    The whole matter of the PFA, directly assisting it’s members in issues like this is very important. The general view of the PFA, rightly or wrongly, is that they seem intent on promoting high salaries for players and protecting them, when they are in receipt of them.

    If they had been more visibly proactive in trying to increase the squad sizes of EFL teams (even slightly), therefore protecting jobs, then they would have had more credibility.

    Seen on Twitter that we are getting the three points. Anyone else heard/seen that and is that allowed under the rules or is it that the game still has to be played but they are docked three points?

    If that was tweeted at 16.19, then if there was any substance in either comment, I wold assume there would be more independent information to verify the situation.

    Yes and judgement and sentenced within hours just like the Juve/Napoli situation. In the meantime the EFL fiddles whilst Rome......... Waste of space.

    3 things I really hate about the game today....
    1) Constant spitting
    2) Kicking the ball further away when it goes out of play
    3) Prospect of points being added/deducted for off field activities
