What worries me is if we agree to him coming in on loan with conditions attached; i.e. he starts every game if fit. Imagine if he turns out to be like Miller and we have to play him as one of our attacking options in every game.

 

I certainly won't be amused if this lad is brought in to replace a 20 goal a season man. Putting our promotion hopes on a 17yr old kid in his first loan? Its very, very dangerous.

Sure, he could turn out to be a Burke or Cullen but equally he could be a Seedorf or Miller.

Its the cheap option if it happens I think that is obvious.

Nixon stated it in the paper but didn't mention it on Twitter so must be a weak chance of Agard. Hiwula still doing the rounds but I think it's fans clutching at straws.

Apparently according to twitter Hiwula has agreed a deal somewhere, however where that is, hasn't been revealed as of yet.

 

It possibly is only us fans who think Jordy could return and add pace, but as I posted Stuart had him in the nearly season and tried to get him on loan the following season from Town but Fleetwood out bid us with regards his salary.
So to me you have to think it has to be his wages because with regards his playing time since he left us most has been at a higher level so football wise he's not fallen away as Devante has done so why would Stuart not want him back at Valley Parade and looks like it might be loans from now on in, that's only my take on things.

Kymani-Gordon is the young lad from Palace. Stuart has tried time and time again to sign Agard and obviously rates him but I can't see it happening this window; Agard is currently out with a knee injury and we really need someone to hit the ground running with an incoming striker.

Thanks for the info, your dead right the last thing we need is a player coming back from injury and were nursing him back to fitness, especially a striker you're correct we need a player fully fit and at the top of his game even if it does turn out to be kids.

Rooney never went out on loan though so there's no real comparison.. if you can find an example of a 17 year old striker with limited u23s experience, zero first team experience who went out on loan to a lower league club and scored the goals to fire them into the play-offs or automatics then I'm all ears to hear that comparison.

 

Was Agard mentioned as an alternative to this young lad or in addition to?
