What family money? That was used to buy their shares in the club from GR. What funded the promotion was an investment bank, Singer & Friedlander, and a leasing company which funded the player aquisitions.

That was when we went into the Prem? Somebody definitely funded our push when we were in Div 1 aka Championship?

Yes, JR has said that in the past. But the decision to pay an enormous dividend from a loss making company was not GR's in isolation. The decision to pay the dividend was agreed by the entire board of directors. JR was culpable in that decision.

In Admin 2, JR chose not to invest further money from the company he and Gibb had set up for that very purpose. That's what forced to club into a default on the original Admin 1 agreement. That was down to JR and not Gibb.

How can you pay yourself a dividend in a loss making company? Isn’t that illegal?

Have you looked at the records from that time?

Yes, S&F. It was in the period when we were in what is now the Championship. It's in the accounts for the year in which we gained promotion.

Is it illegal? These days definitely. In those days, had the auditors done their job properly, they should have qualified the accounts.

And yes, for my sins, I have a copy of all of the accounts for all of the companies involved in the club from before that time. That's where the facts are for all to see .. for those who know what they're looking for.

Well I certainly would not know where to look, and would probably need some help to decipher them. Let me get this straight, the money that the Rhodes family paid for shares in the club went straight into GR’s sky rocket, and this company were like some sort of bridging loan? ie they funded the push into the Prem? How did they make their money? What was the arrangement for paying the loan back?

Then Rhodes and GR paid themselves dividends when our club was literally up to its eyeballs in debt? So not only GR lied to us, but so did the Rhodes family? What your saying is that all these dealings with this company and payment of dividends could not have taken place without them knowing what happened?
