There was no sense to the signing, days later the manager has gone. Honestly we couldn't have made more of a shambles of January if we'd tried. It just shows no one in charge at this time is that bothered about this season. Its one of the reasons a cloud hangs over this club.

Although I doubt we'll ever find out, I'd like to know who made the decision to sign or sanction the signing of players right at the end of the transfer window. I doubt very much that GB leaving wasn't already on the cards which creates more mystery about the signings. I have to admit to having a very cynical view on how this happened!

The underlying issue here is that we operate hand to mouth on and off the pitch. We recruit a manger, he rebuilds the squad in his style of football, it takes time for the squad to function, it doesn't work quick enough, we sack the manager. We appoint a new manger, he rebuilds the squad in his style of football, his squad takes time to function properly, it doesn't work quick enough, we sack the manager. And so on. And to add to it, what that prevents is any time in which to develop our own players to get them up to first team squad capability.

The only period where we had stability that I can recall is under Parky when he just saved us from dropping into non-league and he had the luxury of a lengthy run to rebuild the squad - albeit in his own style. It comes back to what we've discussed previously that we need a vision on how the club should be run including how we play the game on the pitch. This won't be a popular comment but the nutcase Rahic had a point. The club shouldn't leave recruitment and therefore the style of football entirely in the hands of the manager. The club's future is more important than the relatively short term thinking of the current manager.

It was 14 in 34 actually and 2;in the cup I believe so that’s better than a full season

If Guthrie were poor but had an incredible amount of desire, that would be one thing - but his attitude and lack of desire is the most resounding character trait according to fans of his previous clubs.

He is the centre forward version of Akpan.

Rahic had a lot of good points the problem is he thought he could do everything.

Rhodes as no ideas but at least Rahic had some.

    You're 100% correct in what you're saying.

So is it that we need Rhodes to go? I think it is myself!

I suggested in September that I was doubtful whether we were really trying to go up this season and got criticised by many. I'm not sure I was that wrong.

It tells me that people running the club did not want to take a risk and push on for promotion.

Right now I'm optimistic of a play-off spot, but from the POV of last seasons finish I would have predicted that it would take 2 seasons to exit League 2. We're doing better than we should rn to say we finished with only 41 points in 46 games. Time to bounce back and recover really.

I 've asked the question twice. Who signed Guthrie? No one seems to know. And Novak, who from what I've seen so far looks hopeless. Panic, incompetence and an utter shambles.

That's the dawning reailty that is crushing even the uber-optimists right now. Players other clubs, historically way smaller clubs didn't want, pitched up at VP, how were Walsall, Wimbledon & bleedin Accrington rejects going to take us up? I think ST holders saw what they wanted when results were good, but for somebody like me, a game every 5 or so, the team looked absolutely shit and I kept saying it, it was a mystery to me how Bowyer kept it so high.

Need a new CEO as a matter of urgency now, pre-season will be too late to implement any bright ideas, it needs to be within a month.

I'm fine with Novak being at VP but Guthrie is one of the most bizarre signing ever. The one most destined to fail since Haris Vukic.

Novak useless?? He's scored 2 in 4. He looks like a proper striker that we have desperately been needing. If you continue to lump balls towards him then he will be feeding on scraps but feed him proper balls to feet and then crosses into the box and he'll score goals.

Come on, that first goal was never his. Second goal was a good finish.

And? The goals are his aren't they? Do you not think he's looked a decent striker?

Please do not compare Rhodes with that complete idiot! Rhodes built this club back up after successive admins that left this club perilously close to non league football! He is certainly not perfect, and has made many mistakes not least being taken in by Rahic. Now he is having to make some unpopular decisions, but he came back to try and stabilise the club, not glamorous by any stretch. I criticise him myself at times, but never in a million years is he even on the same planet!!

    He raises and repeats.

The club is fine now... now it needs to kick on!

He's acting like when he owned the club.. times have changed and we need to get with them times.

He's holding us back! It needs to be a thank you and goodbye!

He has always been cautious and don’t forget he is not in full control. Rupp will have hi# view and especially about funding.

We don't need cautious rigjht now, we need ambition.

He was cautious when him and Lawn owned the club and he had no money to take the club forward.

Lawn and Rhodes stated that they sold the club to Rupp and Edin because they had money & can take the club forward. Edin in his defence has always stated he had no money, so Rupp's is the money man.

Now isn't the time to have a cautious man putting ideas to a man that has money and needs convincing. He needs exciting and being cautious is never, ever exciting! Normally, being cautious sees you go backwards and guess what? Bradford City while Rhodes has returned gone backwards.

We're a club without a plan, living on Rhodes extremely poor short term vision
