Would Rupp and Julian have made a plan to sack the manager whilst were in our present league position, many fans would have been more than happy with where we sit at the moment at the start of the season, but I respect your opinion although I disagree mate.

Yes, if fans are not happy.

From a business point of view Rhodes plan is cheap season ticket to gain mass audience. Well fans are not happy and bored making it impossible to get the 20k Rhodes wants.

Plus we don't look like getting promoted.

So as a business, Rhodes and Rupp will not be foolish enough to not be considering sacking Bowyer at this minute.

If they are running the club properly then I would hope they would have a plan in place (by that I'm not saying they will sack him but you have to plans for things), same with transfers but that doesn't look like they will act on that plan too.

They and me would have been more than happy but from the performances recently I just can't see where we are going. We've been very fortunate point wise recently, its a poor league, we should with this squad be ripping the league up but we aren't. Its so boring, so negative that I've got to a point where I'm not sure I can sit through much more of it.

    1) You of all poster quoting Simon Parker when it suites your argument, that has to be a wind up ;)?
    2) I haven't changed my mind I said I believe Bowyer will get us promoted I still do, I'd prefer an auto place but I would have no problem with the play off's.
    3) Yes I do go to games both home and away and there can't be any argument recently the performances have been dire, I've said that on several occasions, I don't get how the table lies, we are where we are even with recent performances that have been poor/dire, if the table is the same come Saturday 24th April we will be in a play off place.
    4) Why wait to get rid, because I believe Bowyer WILL turn it around, plus we know from the last couple of seasons changing managers is no guarantee of success.

Footballs simple m8, football manager proves that. Only diff you can’t save the game before a match and restart when you lose or something :(

Mr Rhodes plan is flawed from the off 20k is a joke at the minute
Not all season ticket holders turn up week on week the ground is getting emptier and emptier every home game
20k could be achieved if we played attractive football we have the players to do this just not the expertise (tactical nous) its called ENTERTAINMENT
Big mistake on GB part bringing Doyle back it shows his lack of credentials
Bronco mentioned he missed a chance at Crawley then skied one over the bar on Saturday if these are the only chances we have created for him in 2 matches it kind of proves the point
Mr Rupp will see the league table and think all in the garden is rosy (at the minute)
Only when its too late and we have slipped down the league will the alarm bells start ringing
Saturday was worse than a defeat for me cant remember the last time we went 2 up in a match it proves we can not hold on to a lead on the odd occasion we are gifted one

Fully respect your opinion but I am interested to know exactly what you are basing your faith that Bowyer will turn it round on?

    1) Your first comment is not relevant to my reply to Marshy77, they may react to supports unrest (I doubt it) but the question was had Julian & Rupp made a plan for the situation we find ourselves in 5th in league 2, I think they would be quite happy after last season.
    2) Yes Bradford City prefer the option of cheap season tickets and having 14,000 and upwards fans in rather than 8/10,000 paying £250 for a season ticket, which is admirable IMO.
    3) We still have 19 games to play so 57 points but your comment is not unexpected, so I'll counter by saying I believe we will be promoted.
    4) Considering (taking all information at their disposal) I expect to see Bowyer here for our last home game against Walsall on Saturday 25th April.

Because no team goes through a season without the odd bad run, and even though I accept at times we've had results that we may not have deserved Morecombe away for one, 3 points hanging on when coasting at 2 - 0, yet we have seen the other side of the coin battering Forest Green at home and getting nothing from the game, similar with Port Vale.
We are still in a great position given we are hardly tearing up the league players coming back who will make a difference IMO Donaldson, Devitt, Pritchard,Reeves still getting match fitness and with better around him can play better than he has done in his last two starts, Ismail who's form has in and out but on his day he can make life very difficult for the opposition full back

with our squad we should be going up at a canter. missing top 3 is a bit of a failure on Bowyer's part, and missing top 7 certainly is.

I don't think for one minute JR and SR will be considering sacking Bowyer, but they bloody ought to be. we haven't played well in a full game at all this season, and I believe we're in a bit of a false position, we shouldn't be so high in the league, it seems to be coming back around now, and if performances and results continue like the last couple of weeks we'll be out of the top 7 within the week.

Think if he missed out on the top 7 it would be the worst failure of any manager in our history. How often have our managers been backed financially, been given a top 3 budget and signed their own men with a blank cheque book. Missing out on the top 3 with this squad is sackable in my eyes but can't see the board pulling the trigger whilst in the playoffs. He looks beat to me and the body language of the players and crowd speaks volumes in my opinion. Can't see us putting a run together as we don't have any tactics , game plan or any sort of identity.

Promotion is overrated, love getting promoted but i dont care if im stood on a terrace going mental at Macclesfield or Sheffield Wedeesnday. I wouldnt swap the last 10 years of been a bradford fan for nothing, yet we have seen us in the absolute shit at times. Its football. the problem right now is fans dont want to go... fans are bored... fans are quiet. I couldnt care if Bowyer was in top spot right now. He has zapped that much of the atmosphere that we have to create an 'atmosphere section' How pathetic. If we had a manager who took risks, played football, got behind the players and gave a honest interview then just maybe we would accept where we are in the league. But i cant keep going to VP on a saturday afternoon or spending 100s to go away watching this lifeless shite infront of us.

Sacking him now would take an enormous leap of faith. Unless they have somebody else in mind who may well have given our squad a look over and given their view. There is no way he will be sacked unless they have a candidate lined up. If that was the case, it would have leaked by now.

I can’t remember what I said about his appointment, but in the midst of all the drama early last year, I think we were just grateful for anybody to step in, I do know I was extremely disappointed that he did not make a better fist of keeping us up. He had a free ride on taking us down due to the players and the lack of a team. We all hoped that once he had his signings in place that things would improve dramatically. He cannot blame lack of funds he has had plenty. He must have said in his interview that he would need three transfer windows! However, Rhodes needs to step up here, put his hands up and say he got it wrong. There are worse things than getting it wrong in appointing a new manager and that is continuing with the mistake you have made.
