I think Drury has to go ! Boreyer needs someone who will challenge his ideas and present their own. Dresry is just a yes man to Boreyer and serves no purpose. Gary Jones would be an excellent choice.

But we were awful today; 2-0 up was probably undeserved. Magee had pulled off two great stops to shut out Scunny. Then Gilliead does what we know he can for 2-1. Right now Gilliead is exactly the type of wide man the likes of Connolly is not. The latter was completely ineffective once he got on.

I said it would be a draw. This league is dreadful top to bottom and we are making a right meal of this. I asked those around me if the genuinely knew the names of players in other teams in L2. Ans: very few !? But if you asked other supporters if they could name Bradford City players - they will be able to !

That shows the strength of what Boreyer has at his disposal. And yet week after mind numbing week the football and organisation are so poor ?. It tells me Boreyer is not getting the best from these players ? Talk as we filed out was of him "losing the dressing room"?

I know as Bradford City fans it's no consolation BUT today we saw what a manager can offer a club, Paul Hurst came in at the start of the season and not done too well with regards results and league positions, BUT you have to ask how a team like Scunthorpe (who have taken 4 points from their last 18) can turn up at Valley Parade and take a team with one of the best home records apart with their fluent inter passing and movement, the pitch today didn't hinder Scunthorpe they were a breath of fresh air compared with our attempted build up play, if they continue playing as they did today they will be in the mix come the end of the season.

 

Oh aye, hes shit on the ball too.

The thing is - I honestly think its the management and coaching that's at the heart of the problem.

Look at Matty Lund. He looked very good today, but we know hes 'meh'. No better than Reeves for sure. Our players have no real options on the ball, there are no practised patterns of play beyond knocking it sideways at the back, no one moves. And its sucked the confidence out of our players. I honestly think a proper coach would get something out of these players. These midfielders have all played several years of league one and championship football between them. And week after week, they're second best to league 2 plodders.

 

I can only assume Mellor was unwell, he looked dazed and out of it.

Absolutely bizarre that he stayed on the pitch.

Wasn't like Palmer who struggled on the ball but showed desire and competed for the ball, Mellor was like a zombie out there.

This was a special kind of awful, the worst individual performance in memory.

 

Worse thing is if you know football you can see it happening. Only the blind deny it until its too late, just like under McCall when we're hanging on to the playoffs.

The football was poor to watch at times under parky definitely. But at least there was a plan in place and tactics. This current team looks like a bunch of players that have never met before.

 

Completely agree mate, that was some of the best if not the best counter attacking I've seen this season, passing a level above what we are capable of.

 

Absolutely ridiculous to be talking about Warnock. He's 12 games short of managing 1500 games and wants one last hurrah to reach that milestone. Why do you think he's talking about this now half way through the season? He wants a job for the next 4 months and the next 4 months alone so if he did replace Bowyer, we'd have to start looking for another manager at the end of the season all over again, AGAIN.

Well here we go guys, Gillead left to cut in without a challenge but then the ball goes through what looked like our entire defense, and their second is even worse yes I was correct McAtee picked the ball up in the Scunthorpe half an absolute embarrassment.

Right at the end of the video clip McCartan breaks away plays a poor ball out wide to Connolly who cross's back to McCartan who mishits it the ball rolls to our 24 goal machine and he skies it, for f***s sake Eion good strikers know to get their bodies over the ball to keep it down .

 

I will have to give it a miss, once was enough watching that horror show!
