I wish it worked like that, you're comment "off load the babb" that can only be done in a few ways, another club comes in for them, we allow them out on loan with the loaning club paying a % of their wages or we come to a mutual agreement to settle their outstanding wages.

 

Whelan was total gash at Hearts and by all accounts had a shitty attitude. Avoid at all costs.

 

Sounds to me like we ain't off loading anyone according to the T and A this morning.
Pinning our hopes on Jamie Devitt by what Bowyer is saying.

To be fair we do have the squad for this league and to go up.

Devitf returning would be a boost.

For me it's all on Bowyer. If he's more attack minded then we can finish in the top 3.

 

We are a passionate lot on here and Fordy matey, for me logic is king. Unfortunately the workings of our Club are a mystery at times.But that's the nature of football's up's and downs and few can be winners and the majority miss out. As long as we compete and there is a smidgen of expectancy most will be happy.

 

Even if we didn't sign anyone, there are definitely a couple I'd be moving on.

Once Doyle came back it was obvious our incomings were done.

 

We now have the squad with Doyle back.

Broncs I know that dude but the point was we have a little excess from McBurnie.

Robinson is a on off situation. Most other cases have either been thrown out or the player asked to leave..... I know its hard to get rid of Anderson etc but it must be done at some point because they bring nothing to us or the team.....

 

There's arguable no need for reinforcements, assuming that we'll get some luck with the injured during the last 20 matches

Having the choice of two of Devitt, Prichard, Ismail and Connolly, will be a big help. We've not had this all season, so it will be like new additions

If Mellor is a long way off fitness, then I'd get a RB on loan, but one who could perhaps play across the back and perhaps CDM, i.e. a Tom Clarke - but unfortunately he's now back in the Preston first team (at one stage, he was out of the picture having had a few injuries and hence seemed ideal as a loanee needing to get some games in)

 

Devitt could potentially be the most important player to return this season.

An actual attacking midfielder who attacks.

 

If Bowyer allowed that .......... Cooke for one would be fuming (not to mention a few thousand fans ).
It's one thing having capable players, but another to give them 'license' . NOT Bowyers way, apparently.

 

If they can't be moved on in this transfer window it will be June when their contracts finish.

 

Agree, looking forward to seeing him back. He has a terrific goalscoring and assist record in this league for the previous two seasons
