Funny watching the commentators cream themselves over Arteta's 'achievements' so far, coming out second half and beating a championship side. Wow great stuff. Arsenal were rubbish, they are a poor side with a very average premiership squad. Most of the kids coming through will end up at places like Fulham or Bournemouth.

 

It does beg the question.....who actually are our rivals these days? Can't think of any teams we can call genuine rivals in recent years. The last was probably Rotherham when Parky and Evans used to do battle.

 

Haven’t they got a great striker on loan from the club they were playing, therefore he was ineligible? Sounds familiar...

 

They are spineless aren't they. They should have been 2 or 3 down yesterday. I just can't understand how a team can have such a bad defence year on year. Its worse than Peterborough, who score goals for fun every year but still haven't addressed the ratio between scoring shitloads and conceding shitloads. You can excuse them to an extent because money is tighter in L1, but Arsenal had spaffed plenty of resource and their defence is still woeful. They did keep a CS last night but it was a lucky one.

 

He's gone back now but, yes, Eddie (however you spell his last name) was on loan there. Bristol City are taking him now I think as he wants more gametime. Leeds are on about getting Billy Sharp in. Remember when some thought we stood a chance of getting him, lol.

 

I very rarely watch Premiership nowadays. Did Arsenal have just the one British player in their team? Really bugs me.

They regularly bring young players in but they all play like robots. None of them since the like of Wilshere or Ramsay have looked anything more than average. Seems to be a lot of young talent in London but it all seems to be at Chelsea, i'm guessing Chelseas youth set up looks for different type of player.

 

They've said the same for a few years now too. It does seem familiar, aye. Fingers crossed Doyle can make the difference.

 

I bet data analysis wasn't used when we signed Kai. Whil we're on that, i'm surprised no one has been sniffing round Conor Wood, that sort of cross accuracy ratio from left back should have alarm bells ringing for certain clubs looking to attack through full backs.

RE Wood, he might be cropping up on radars now due to his crossing ability. Maybe that is all Bowyer's master ploy of late. Scouts aren't gonna be impressed and sign him if he doesn't allow him past the half way line!!
