I still think a deal either has or had been agreed in principle between the clubs but I am now wondering if the ongoing scoring scoring has caused us to try to change the terms, in other words try to get a few more thousands out of it. Any way, as Nick Cave once sang, all will be revealed.

3, Unfortunately as a professional footballer things like living accommodation and kids schooling are part and parcel of the life of being being a professional footballer he's no different to any other player who wants to make a better life at a club that will pay the going rate.

The situation of both Jack Payne & George Miller was reviewed if you remember last season in January, Huddersfield Town wanted more as another club were prepared to pay more for Jacks services and Middlesbrough sold the lad Miller to Barnsley whilst he was at at City and part of the deal on Barnsley buying Miller was to let him remain at Valley Parade, so it happens mate I don't know why some Swindon fans think a season long loan is written in stone and said player wont leave until May as some are suggesting.

 

And since when have clubs given a sh**e about that, or players as well to be honest? Players go where they can get the best bucks or longest contract for security. He's on loan so he won't have moved his family anywhere yet. He will be commuting or living in a hotel at the moment.

A season long loan doesn't necessarily mean that, there are usually recall clauses and such.

I wouldn't read too much into that.

We only have two out and out strikers (Doyle and Yates) at the moment, we need more even if only for cover. I think some Carlisle fans will doubt that even Yates is an out and out striker.

 

What position is that other lad? Jaiyesimi?

Doyles family live in Liverpool. He also has said he knows how ruthless the whole transfer business is and he doesn't really care as long as he can support his family and finally be able to buy his dream house.

Is he always this aggressive towards fans from other clubs? Fact is, as a club we have always undersold ourselves, so why Fordy117 seems to think we will cash in big time or recall Doyle is anyone’s guess. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a nominal fee agreed to cover our expenses/fees with them agreeing to take over his contract.
