Apart from Donaldson, who have we actually been missing these last 6 or so weeks?

 

I must have missed Robinson featuring this season and last !

 

If Bowyer isn’t making them decisions he should grow a pair and leave.

 

The BIG problem Bowyer has had is having the same squad to work with, week by week, and month by month. As one player is considered fit, another once fit player drops out. So I can 'almost' consider his tactic tinkering ....... What I don't subscribe to; is this limiting game plan of 'do not lose'. We are just scraping by, on this ......... But I feel Swindon will wallop us on their patch (Doyle, or not) in next weeks game (Jan 4th). We need a full squad to improve, and tactics that the whole squad understand, and can play.

So yes, decisions needed from the top in January - But also Bowyer to use any space he is given for a re-think, in terms of squad quality and deployment. One things for sure ......... 'Eight' behind the ball HAS to stay in 2019, and NOT enter 2020, this New Year.

 

BUT you already covered that in your #25 post Rod ........ "Have not really featured MUCH". I think you addressed it all well there.

 

On the subject of Robinson, if he does come back, the Reeves situation shows he might not be far off (in football terms) from being ready.

 

Just above the relegation zone and we'd won just a couple of games in the last 20 odd and were sinking like a stone which is why we pulled the trigger.

Yet Bowyer has us 5th at present so actually you're probably right, there's no comparison.

 

He also wants Simon Parker out as well. In fact nobody would be safe in a job in the crazy Fordy world.

Looking at Robinson’s Instagram stories, I don’t think he wants to come back either. Might mean him actually having to stay in on a Friday night for once.

 

Colin Murray was on Radio 5 this morning asking for moments of the last decade. A City fan phoned in to talk about Chelsea but was stopped after a short while and was asked about the Doyle situation. Murray described it as the strangest situation in football at the moment!! You're paying a player to get another team promoted!! He said you couldn't make it up!!
