You are quite confused and contradict yourself. You say GB cant get a note out of our strikers but all of a sudden if Doyle returns he can.

 

Look at it from Doyle's point of view he was obviously played out of position but did his utmost in an unfamiliar formation he took pelters from the fans and was eventually shipped/uprooted out so we could get "better" players
Since he went to Swindon he has a manager who knows how to get the best out of him he scores goals for fun and has a much needed strike force to play to his strengths above all he is enjoying his football again what makes you think anything would change if he returned Seems a very expensive way of trying to de rail Swindons promotion push but then again the clubs ethics seems to be more about stopping other teams rather than going for it ourselves

He does play forwards wrong but we do create chances and Doyle would put a lot of them away.

Doyle's gone. He's not coming back. Its an embarrassment but we need to man up and stop crying over the ex who's gone on to better things. Give Vaughan the freedom to play the same way as Doyle does and he would score plenty for us

You see, I half think that they know the vast majority of fans will quite rightly be fuming when Doyle goes permanently so they'll need to pull a couple of big signings out the bag. 100k and whatever saved on Doyle's wages go a fair way to that but whether that money is allowed to be reinvested is the big question unfortunately. If not then it's even more of a shambolic decision than it is now.

 

Do you think Chelsea fans think the same about letting Salah go to Liverpool.
Basically a very similar scenario, Salah was shiiite for Chelsea, looked terrible when he played against us but somehow Klopp has got the best out of him.

I guarantee, 100 %, they will accept that some fans will be pissed off when he goes. But what they'll be more fearful of, is how it would look if he's recalled and he stops scoring.

 

I get that but I think the difference is when Chelsea got rid of Salah, he had to go to Roma, away from the premier league and prove himself. Just like De Bruyne at Wolfsburg when he left chelsea. They both rebuilt their careers then came back years later world class players.

Right now, we have a player who left 4 months ago, doing it in our league, for one of our promotion rivals and we're paying for the privilege just to add insult to injury.

 

Aye, it'll make Bowyer look a fool that's for sure. But it's whether or not they'll go some way to appeasing the fans by reinvesting the money which is my issue.

 

I'm not sure anyone could have for seen doyle going on loan to swindon and scoring as many as he has. He was awful for us last season and no better at the start of this for us. Was anyone genuinely surprised when hearing he was being loaned out and thought it would be a huge mistake ?
