    Interestingly despite them having tons and tons of possession we have had the better goal chances.

    Defense has panicked at times.

    Palmer has grown into the game and has hit some FORWARD passes and great corner for BRE to head then cleared off the line.

    With some astute subs around 60 mins I feel we could nick this.

    I think Bowyer will do his usual sub around 65/70 minutes Oteh's a good lad to bring on after Donaldson has roughed them up, Id be surprised if he takes Donaldson off at half time.

    And yet even so, clean sheet and the best chances.

    Definite patterns emerging, which shows we're more dangerous than other L2 sides even on limited chances, and can defend well.

    Virtually all them in possession. Donaldson missed a good chance. We’re more route 1.
    Mellor has his hands full with their left winger. They pitch is in mint condition and suits their passing game. Lots of 1 touch shit you can’t do in January. Fair play. The best opposition I’ve seen this season.

    As long as doesn't get another tonight, get your money on he does on Saturday.
    He'd then miss the EFL trophy game against Man City which he'd be unlikely to play in anyway.

    The defence have been very good.

    The midfield terrible as usual. Palmer has kept it simple without doing much and that's about as good as it's got.

    I noted this as well. Not sure if it's tactical or not (no idea why it would but I'm not a GB fan) but they both hold the ball up well and seem to lack options when ready to release it

    We've had the best chance through donaldson and the back 4 have done well, although I'm not sure low possession and low pass accuracy is a sustainable tactic throughout the season.

    Defence has panicked at times with rushed clearances to their players. More composure needed.

    Cooke has to come on asap to relive Andersons misery. Palmer has grown into the game IMHO,

    I thought the rules had changed and cards in the league will only impact on league games now and thus are not transferable to another competition.
