At 30 years old he'll simply want the best deal for him and his family and he'll only know what the best deal is once he's spoken to everyone. 99% of people would do exactly the same if in his shoes.

 

We are trying to tie up a deal for Matty Palmer. Currently at Rotherham.

He's only 28 actually so I'd assume we would be prepared to offer him a 3yr deal as we gave Vaughan one who is nearly 31.

Yes but he's barely featured for them. Spent almost most of the season on the bench/ not in the squad.

That's an interesting one, where's this come from? He's played a lot of games in the EFL which is good and only 24. I've messaged a couple of Rotherham fans to see what he's like as he hasn't played much in the last few years. It would be brilliant if we could get Ryan, Palmer and Mayor in but that probably won't happen.

Being a Rotherham resident - Even as they have dropped to Lge 1, many feel Palmer would be no great loss.

Robinson is on holiday posting pics of himself partying. I suspect he wont be back any time soon otherwise he wouldnt be out having it large. Not complaining about him enjoying himself but it just suggests he wont be back soon.

I'm assuming that means that CPS still haven't charged him then? If they charge and bail you, you can't leave the country right?

If it's still under investigation, he can leave the country... but it's really dragging on now and surely any evidence they would have to be able to charge him would have been gathered when he was first arrested?
