    It would be a stupidly good signing. Apparently TCA say he wants league one football. However hopefully Vaughan can get in his ear, Bowyer can put an arm round him and offer him a decent deal. Hopefully he looks at the bigger picture with us, instead of going to Tranmere who have probably reached the highest level they can possibly get to at this moment in time. I can't see him going to Plymouth or Ipswich purely as it sounds like he doesn't want to uproot his family. I just hope if he is considering us, no one like a Salford or Mansfield come in at the last minute and offer silly money.

    If they show him (Mayor) the Mark Lawn tie (Chelsea victory) that's in the glass case, we will get him. Oh and don't scrimp on the pizza dudes give him onions and musshies he will deffo sign.

    Down at training and the players are just coming out to start. Theres a camera set up and some folk stood around it. They've just interviewed a player, cant tell who it is, and hes gone back into the building complex now. Possible new signing perhaps?

    Would be a great addition, Mayor, if we could pull it off....but suspect we'll be gazumped by Salford if they are in for him.

    Still want to see us bring in a hard man for central midfield as the priority though. In the other thread people were putting together their best XI's and we look desperately weak in the middle of midfield.

    Reeves - not likely to be fit for August. When fit he's a passer, not a ball winner
    Devine - bit part player in a relegated team last year. He's a passer, not a ball winner.
    Anderson - in and out of a relegated team. He's a passer, not a ball winner.
    Colville - light weight midfielder with an attacking mindset, not a ball winner.
    Akpan - built like a ball winner but doesn't play like one. Another passer.

    Where is our ball winner?

    Ricky Holmes was mentioned last week. The chap I saw being interviewed was fairer haired and definitely didnt have a top knot!

    Oh no orient have sent back Josh Wright after a few preseason sessions because we told them he was a footballer , they say he’s not and are going for fake description charges against us unless we take him back.
