I can't see them leaving tbh. You don't just buy a football club to then want to sell it two years after. Only an idiot wouldn't do research into what would be needed to be done to make money. What's happening right now sure as hell isn't making them money. Also I saw in the t&a news about them trying to sort the pitch out. If they were going to sell why pretend that your going to fix the pitch problems

 

The owners aren’t going anywhere . I personally don’t want them to come out and tell us what’s gone wrong I just want them to correct there errors and start building the club back up again . Whilst the playing side has been negative we have had some positives off field . New ticket site which was needed . Club shop apparently coming back in house . New pitch come the summer . The suites have had work done on them . New changing rooms . Let’s hope come The summer the on field issues can be resolved and we’re fully prepared for it as we Carnt afford another January

I don’t think they will leave so soon. I think the shock has been the vitriol and abuse they have had. The idea behind the Matter of Heart DVD was to promote investment from Germany & the abuse that was put on social media may have put off new investors.

I guess we will never find out just want has caused the meltdown in form, but I can’t se elf been unpaid bonus payments as the PFA and EFL would have been all over this. You can’t get the team a MaccyDs without the permission of Shaun Harvey so if we started not paying bonuses then we would have known about it.

I just hope that lessons have been learnt & next season we see a team that doesn’t give up so easily

 

No we carnt afford to skimp on our playing staff it's been well documented on various media platforms.
The problem we have now becomes even more problematic with the state of the playing surface.
How the hell the club are going to find real investment is beyond me to solve both issues.
I don't think both are achievable unfortunately, somethings got to give if the present regime still rule the roost.

 

What is the associated revenue. It has been claimed this week that JCT600 were paying less than 40% of what the Scunthorpe shirt sponsors pay even with 20,000 fan base. Similar with Mittons, had deal cheaply.

 

I don't know about the Scunthorpe situation and how our sponsorship compares to other clubs. But, trying to explain to potential sponsors how they are continuing to get similar value with a reduced fan base will be tricky.

There will be knock-on effects on merchandise sales and perhaps hospitality.

 

If true that is very poor business whoever agreed it.

Alternatively it could be a way of funnelling money into the club to get round any FFP concerns. No idea at all on the circumstances of their sponsorship and the links with the club.

 

IF you pay over the odds for sponsorship in the higher leagues it doesn't count towards you FFP workings, it happened to PSG, Man City were investigated as well. In our league an owner could just gift the money to the club and it would count, so no need to funnel money in via over priced sponsorship deals

The silence from Edin is deafening, there again if he's not attending. I suspect something must be going on behind the scenes, maybe even panic. I would suspect he will issue a statement soon because he needs to address the situation and offer tangible news of intent for the close season. He will be acutely aware of further damage to ST sales.

 

As I said in another thread (C&B ?) Edin is probably just taking advantage of the Easter break, and taken his family back to Germany for a holiday with friends and other family.

 

Aren’t you fed up of statements ? They said weeks back they have made mistakes and need to learn from them . The season is over there is nothing we can do till the season is over . Edin has his faults but he Carnt be held responsible for Graysons poor tactics and players lack of professionalism every time we lose .

 

Fully agree SB . This summer is huge for the club as a whole to show which direction we are heading

 

This summer really is pivital. Does Grayson stay or go?? Hope he stays and clears out the first team squad.
Edin ,well hopefully Edin is takeing 2 or 3 steps back and digesting what exactly has made this season go so wrong since new year and learns from the mistakes.
Steffan, hopefully not lost interest in City because who else is willing to invest in our club?

Think damage limitation is the priority now and clarity following broken promises.

 

These players kept us in play offs for 1 and half seasons ( approx) they don't just all turn rubbish .we have bigger problems someone needs to speak out rather than dropping hints here and there.
