Seriously Park, when they have over promised and under delivered as they have recently and presided over the calamitous PR of late how can it be a surprise to them?

But can we afford to scrimp on players? We did that this season and look what has happened if we do, even bigger chance of relegation and potentially loss of revenue.. sometimes you have to invest or even worse consequences follow. I would borrow the money for the pitch off Rupp, low interest.

 

They need to stop saying we are going to be promoted in three years, stop saying we are all prepared for the January window etc., I am also beginning to wonder if the pitch will be upgraded. That has what has incensed fans, we are not fools to be fed BS. The trust has gone nobody is believing anything they say, plus I don’t think either of them has turned up for a match lately.

 

If we lose 30%+ of our season ticket holders, which seems plausible atm, then I'd argue the value of the club has been significantly reduced.

Part of the value of the club was a fan base of close to 20,000 and the associated revenue. That has been eroded, in the short term at least.

 

This summer really is pivital. Does Grayson stay or go?? Hope he stays and clears out the first team squad.
Edin ,well hopefully Edin is takeing 2 or 3 steps back and digesting what exactly has made this season go so wrong since new year and learns from the mistakes.
Steffan, hopefully not lost interest in City because who else is willing to invest in our club?

 

Think damage limitation is the priority now and clarity following broken promises.

 

These players kept us in play offs for 1 and half seasons ( approx) they don't just all turn rubbish .we have bigger problems someone needs to speak out rather than dropping hints here and there.

 

Do people really think they're going to walk away after 1 bad season? also they will argue the club is worth more than the £5m they paid and is anybody really going to pay more than that for it?

 

The vibe at the moment is Edin has been shocked by the vitriol. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is a change of ownership sooner rather than later.

 

Undoubtedly the numbers will be down, be interesting to see which £ bracket the share is down in.

 

The owners aren’t going anywhere . I personally don’t want them to come out and tell us what’s gone wrong I just want them to correct there errors and start building the club back up again . Whilst the playing side has been negative we have had some positives off field . New ticket site which was needed . Club shop apparently coming back in house . New pitch come the summer . The suites have had work done on them . New changing rooms . Let’s hope come The summer the on field issues can be resolved and we’re fully prepared for it as we Carnt afford another January

No we carnt afford to skimp on our playing staff it's been well documented on various media platforms.
The problem we have now becomes even more problematic with the state of the playing surface.
How the hell the club are going to find real investment is beyond me to solve both issues.
I don't think both are achievable unfortunately, somethings got to give if the present regime still rule the roost.

 

I don't know about the Scunthorpe situation and how our sponsorship compares to other clubs. But, trying to explain to potential sponsors how they are continuing to get similar value with a reduced fan base will be tricky.

There will be knock-on effects on merchandise sales and perhaps hospitality.

 

IF you pay over the odds for sponsorship in the higher leagues it doesn't count towards you FFP workings, it happened to PSG, Man City were investigated as well. In our league an owner could just gift the money to the club and it would count, so no need to funnel money in via over priced sponsorship deals
