i actually think we made to many subs we were totally dominant second half the substitutions disrupted it. I would have brought Scannell on and left it at that

Go on, name me anyone who could have made a difference with this squad and tell me what he would have done? Please tell me because i'm telling you now, Pep frigging Guardiola couldn't have made a difference with this squad.

    Exactly.

Who is the 'second striker' to play alongside the languid, plodding Doyle?

We have several attacking players, ie, Clarke and Ball, who just aren't strikers, and then we're left with Miller and Patrick.

Miller and Doyle haven't worked as a pairing all season, and Patrick is baba.

I'm sure Sheff Weds fans thought the same about their squad.

Point is football is about RESULTS and fact is Bowyer so far isn't getting the required results.

He gets a 2 year contract on the back of poor results.

If you want to forget what football is about then fine. Pointless any of us going this season or buying season tickets.

Sit back watch Jeff on Soccer Saturday say Bradford City losing again because they don't care about results and make excuses for not getting them.

Now here is the thing, NONE OF US DO!!!

we are all fed up to the back teeth of of watching our team get battered or as is the case yesterday put in a toothless performance.

The plan yesterday was to stay in the game for 70 minutes, then bring on Scanz and Payne to see if we could snatch it. Nearly worked, but they scored just before subs came on. O’Donnell was to blame for the goal, yes mistakes were made before it got to him, but that was a regulation save all day long. They had one shot on target, and he let it it. I expect the goalie to bail us out when mistakes are made, he had very little to do all match.

I really hope you can get this because you are becoming seriously boring, Gary Bowyer has been given 3 spoons to dig us out of a hole and what is required is at least 1 spade preferably 2!!

We all hoped he could do something with this squad but it hasn’t happened, however he is not to blame for our current situation. We will have to wait and see how he does next season with his own squad.

We battled yesterday mate I agree.

We we're at home so I expect us to have more of the ball and also we played 1 up top and packed the midfield.

    My disappointment is this:

Butterfield playing mainly as a DM. Pointless.
Full backs.. the goal came from Chicksen not pushing forward being that outlay. He gets forward then stops.
Keeper- I didn't think we needed a new keeper but now I feel we do. We certainly need a keeper to give him competition
    Billy Clarke - pointless signing
Doyle - can't play up top on his own
Midfield - far too slow in supporting Doyle
Subs - Bowyer waiting for 70 mins and then 1 down
Anderson - struggling to understand why he starts now. Would rather Devine or Wright be given a chance.
Bowyer - not having bottle. Seems like he was happy for a draw to start with.

Look, P'O'Connor had a good game and the dropping of A'O'Connor was the right call. Should of been done months ago.

Supporters can't lose sight that football is about winnining. We need to start picking up wins because going in to next season with a losers mentality won't be good.

None of us like losing, nobody more so than Bowyer and the players on the pitch. But no one has a devine right to win and losing has become a habit. You can tinker witj that team as much as you want, bring subs on at different times etc. It makes no difference with this team. Some of your comments have merit but ultimately it doesn’t matter.

18 months of lunacy from Rahic and disastrous transfer windows, the last chance being January, have led to this position, not Gary Bowyer. Hopkin bailed out because he knew the writing was on the wall. We are back to square one and i don’t like it any more than you do mate.

‘How to destroy a football club in 2 years’, by Edin Rahic. Foreward by Stefan Rupp.

Rupp and Rhodes plus the board have to prove themselves now!

The chance was their in Jan but they failed.

Bowyer can't have a free pass though mate. He has to prove himself as well at Bradford City

Completely agree. I expect Bowyer to get playoffs as bare minimum, anything else will be classed as failure. Some of the guff i've read about expecting a mid table finish, its league 2 FFS. If we start off badly next season then i will be the first in the queue to have a go at Bowyer, but i'm hoping his own squad will have a winning mentality, some our fans could do well to have.

Bowyers` recent statement saying he wants big, physical players adding to that players with pace and skill is the right recipe for getting out of L2. He knows what he wants (and probably who he wants) and will not settle for mid-table mediocrity. Although it`s highly likely to be L2 we have to be positive and give him the support, i just hope JR and SR back him.

I'd love to know where all these wonderful talented, committed players are that Bowyer is going to bring in for next season on free transfers and low wages and happy to play for a club on a downward spiral....?

We lost yesterday because we don’t have decent players in areas we need them.
If Marquis and Wilks had being playing for us yesterday we would have won that match comfortably

Well Bowyer said he was watching Bury V Cambridge midweek.

    Might want Jones back.

This is the thing. Who wants to play for a club that's happy to lose and sinking?

16 contracted players and most will still be here next season then you have a owner that's not really proved himself to the fans as yet when it comes to splashing the cash on transfers. The transfer dealing in Jan were an utter joke. Embarrassing!

The board need to deliver in the summer.

This mates club needs to stop. This is a business.
Heard the head of media or Marketing not @Glenn Ackroyd@Glenn Ackroyd talking about Mr Rhodes and how he's Bradford City etc. I don't care who loves the club. We all do! It's about making the right decisions for the club and making sure we get results on and off the pitch. I would rather the bloke had been up front and said look fans it's not good enough this season and we've all failed you at Bradford City but we will turn it around instead got the licking of Rhodes, Rupp and Bowyer..it's like Eh!

Rhodes must go if Bowyer fails because like it or not Bowyer hasn't delivered results yet and got a 2 year deal.

Rupp & Rhodes heads are on the line if this club doesn't get promoted next season. As fans we have to demand promotion!

We have David Ball who has played as a striker all his career and was brought in to play as such until we moved him to midfield for some reason, He is a better striker than Doyle by far and cannot understand why we do not play him as a striker either alone or as a second striker

Note the name Rhodes cropping up in critical posts ! Something that's going to be on "the agenda" quite a bit in the weeks, months and year(s) to come. Suggest he goes large on a new "Teflon suit" he's going to need it ! It's simply not enough to come up with "the same old platitudes" he ushered out over a decade ago we need to see some substance ! And that starts with Bradford City securing ALL the right key players in the right positions to hammer our way out of that awful league we are now in ! And not having us looking up that awful league envious that Solihull blooming Moors or Leyton bleeding Orient have better players than us !. There should be no hiding place for Rupp, Rhodes or Bowyer if they fail us.

Well looking at where he acquired players the last couple of summers for Blackpool, they were mainly from League 1, League 2 and even non-league. Going on their performance the other week, and their position in the league table, it didn't look as if he made a bad job of it.

There should be no hiding place for many at the club NOW, but some still blindly applaud (and criticise those that don’t).
