with players that aren't his and in all likelihood having worked with them a bit now he will want to bin off and get his own players in. My main expectation of him is to not get too depressed at how bad we are and quit like Hopkin did.

Can't stress enough how much I believe the players to be at fault now as its been more than one manager and approach. They all need to go and no manager can be judged until we shift pretty much the entire squad bar caddis and o'donnell. All of them have had enough chance to prove themselves now and trying yet another manager won't suddenly make them world beaters.

You speak of 'lightweights'. I have been through the mill with BCFC since the late 1960s. The club is a shambles. I am no lightweight, but have just donated my £150 to 'Crisis' (a homeless charity). I just cannot pay any more towards this club. It is not just the pathetic players (most of whom don't give damn), but the simple fact that the club is rotten to the core. I'm done. It is very sad, but I walk away.

 

Well sir, a very generous gesture to which I wholly congratulate you on. It saddens myself that good folk like yourself have walked away but fair play to you. I won't criticise anybody who walks away.

 

We have had worse ovee the years a lot of hard work needed but there is no reason at all that this time next year things could look a lot different

I like the irony of your donation to Crisis and then you describe the club as being in a similar state.

He can do what he wants. According to Wetherby whaler we we’re very close to extinction in Parkys first year.the following year we were promoted. We have had a couple of bad seasons but football fortunes can change very quickly.. I couldn’t imaging not going under any circumstance

 

Makes me smile when supporters accuse the players of being spineless and giving up and having no fight in them only to do exactly the same themselves walking away from the club and not supporting the club by buying season tickets, Teams come and go but real supporters see through that and get behind the club in hard times

 

That was then, this is now. Previous form is not indicative of the future. Comparing apples and oranges.

One thing I would say, which is not a criticism but it's been worse than bad ( the last two seasons), it's been truly terrible.

 

And next year it could be brilliant that’s what supporting your team is in most cases ups and downs

 

Just bought mine today. Must admit for the first time in 50 odd years I had to think long and hard before purchasing this time but after all they are my club and have since 1960, the idiot who created this mess as long gone with his so called model, hopefully just hopefully we will have club to support after the carnage he left.

Mind, you hung onto the words of @wetherbywhaler above in which you said, the club could have got relegated and gone extinct but followed it up with promotion the following season.

However as Roger has said in his own words on this board, it will take five years for the club to recover from this mess (Rahic era) ...

I fear promotion next season may not be forthcoming.

Theres no reason we can't get relegated again. All ifs and buts.

 

I have been at the club for years... and never attended a big cup draw... still pissed me of what happened to the club

So not everyone is I glory supporter, but can still be pissed about what is happening
