What a contrast, a manager who knows what he is doing.

Some good football played today, but also we looked stronger, and good to see 2 up.front.

Butterfield was outstanding, showed his class today

I think you'll be on your own with that view.

Butterfield had more impact in every way that matters. Looked every inch a championship player todày.

Thats what impressed me about Bowyers approach, he played what he thought was his best side and not the best individuals at the club. Drops Payne and we get a man of the match performance from Butterfield, takes balls that. Playing Anderson and Akpan allowed us to see Butterfield and Ball play way better than the previous few weeks.

Great result against 12 men, that referee has got to be the worst this season, I can't wait to see the penalty he gave Posh from our seat Maddison took a dive and the referee bought it, but 3 points and next up Luton who could only draw at Plymouth then another difficult game away to Oxford, Bowyer certainly enjoyed the day dancing about on the touchline .

Maddison showed why Championship clubs are reluctant to pull the trigger. Reminds me of the kid at school who won’t let anyone play with his ball. Always trying to pull off the impossible pass.

We needed some bollocks, brave decisions made today and I'm glad for Bowyer that they worked.

    They were sensible decisions mate.

Fans get hooked up on names as do poor managers.

We needed a balance in midfield.

I agree here and actually I'm fuming at Hopkin. Some of us have been asking why on earth you'd hide a creator like Butterfield in defensive midfield and why Ball's energy and drive had to be restricted to the right wing

They play in their correct positions and suddenly we're actually given a defence something to think about

Maddison, was the best by a mile in the first half, but Butterfield ended up been even better

First win against a good team as well. They look a constant threat with Tomlin etc. Their away record was the best in the division as well

    And well played O'Connor

    Agree.

Big one was Payne who does drift in and out of the game and Butterfield showed how you should run a game playing that sort of role.

Agreed. Maddison was poor today. So.many passes out of play. Obvious class but didn't work out again.

He was very good for the first 30 mins. After that he vindicated Evans' decision to frequently not trust him for 90mins and why he's not in The Championship

I don't think anyone had a bad game today and there were some very good performances. Butterfield was the best player on the pitch by a long way. I also thought Anderson and O'Connor had very good games. O'Brien really came into it in the second half. All of our goals were well worked and Peterborough had to rely on a ludicrous penalty for their goal.
The ref and the linesman on the Midland Road side were appalling.
For once Ivan Toney failed to score against us.

Any team has to worry about Maddison on his day, I thought today he was playing to the crowd, look at me, and overall contributed little to the game.
