Yes, but if you pay cash at the turnstile. How do you know which of those 8,000 seats are free? A non-regular fan could pay his £25, enter the stadium and sit in someone’s seat.

Yeah but your ‘two minute queue’ has already increased to ‘about 5mins’ in just a few seconds. By the time the rush starts tomorrow, the queue will be hours long

 

Serious question to those commenting on the que times... have any of you actually had the pleasure of queing for a ticket before a game, it can take a while.

Is that because of the lack of seats available next to each other ? So they spend time looking for 2/3/4 next to each other?

 

Guessing you never go to the cinema then?

There you have to queue at the ticket office to buy your ticket and then queue at the screen to go in. Never seen anyone trying to pay at the screen

 

Because every ticket has a block and seat number printed on it. Surely you've paid cash on a turnstile before?

 

To be honest, it's not me that takes ages to buy a ticket. But yes I guess that with the number of season tickets sold that could be the issue.

Some people seem to take an age finding the right seats. I'll sit where ever I'm allocated

 

Last time I went to the flicks was for 'close encounters'....!!

 

Been awhile since I heard the cinema referred to as ‘flicks’

 

I also enjoyed close encounters at the flicks if you know what I mean.....

 

And I would politely ask them to move, show my season tickets and say excuse me old chap, perchance you are sat in our seats out of ignorance....now f++k off!!

 

Only for FA Cup games and then you usually don’t get a ticket when paying at the turnstiles.

I have paid at away grounds and usually not received a ticket either.

What if 3 non- season ticket holders join the queue and all get given a ticket on w different row? You seriously think they would just sit in the seats designated on their tickets?

Not that this is any different from not buying a ticket to those that get one but sit elsewhere

 

So before every game all the tickets for the empty seats are printed off and given to the turnstile
Operator? Then at the end of the day they are all binned. Sounds like a right waste of cash.
And then does the turnstile operator go through the pile of tickets looking for four seats next to each other, 3 adults and a child?

Cinema is posh, we used to call it the ‘pictures’

 

Accept what your saying mate would have been a good game to do a kids free or something,and get behind the team

 

Can you pay cash at the cinema without going to box office to buy a ticket?
Can you walk into a theatre without a ticket a ticket.
It’s clearly obvious you need to visit the ticket office first. Stop being a complete bell end!!
