    I agree, it is our best option, but I like Connor Wood playing in that midfield role,he was creative, broke play up and was fast.

    We’re not much stronger but I’d rather have the IN group. And we’ve presumbly cut a fair bit of cost out.

    I hear what your saying but Akpan has only just started performing consistently possibly because of the poor pre-season and his early injury, glad I'm not the one making the call ;).

    We still seem imbalanced to me with too many players of a similar type.

    Having said that, Billy Clarke was underrated by many.

    If we survive we'll just scrape it, think it will go down to the last game. Fortunately our home record against Wimbledon ain't bad at all.

    I think this division is wide open all the way to mid table. Difficult to predict tbh. The one thing we have is team cohesion which has been hard to come by. I think it is a balancing act to maintain that and bring players in who are not going to rock the boat. I think that is most important when we are in a relegation battle. Not entirely happy, would have liked an all out striker, but hey such is life, thanks to Rahic.

    That may be the case next season if we have secured our place in league one, sorry IMO experienced players like Clarke over kids like Patrick and Clare.

    As delighted as I am that Billy is back, Hopkin's two priority positions were a winger and striker and we got neither. This smacks of a panic signing to me.
