Possibly so. What I find much more uncomfortable is the whole 'trademarking' of 'the 56' as a 'brand'.

'Get your 56 hoodies' here. And I'm not knocking the cause of what its seeking to raise money for, but 56 clothing, trainers, mugs, flags etc. I find that classless in the extreme.

I completely agree. It began with a huge garish flag at one of our Wembley visits and seems to have snowballed from there. I find the brand uncomfortable in and of itself, but the fact we have fans who have monetised it is bizarre. Unfortunately it seems, certainly with our younger fans, that we are in the minority..!

    Spot on Faithful
It's crass in the extreme and should be stopped
Donate to the burns unit rather than buy a hoodie
For those of us that were there we don't need reminding in this way I have the physical and mental scars for that
RIP each and every one of you

A couple of doors up from me lived a guy who was the first fire crew on that fateful day, many years passed before we actually spoke about it, I said it must have been horrific for those at the back of the main stand in the passage way, to which he said it wouldn't have been the actual flames or smoke, as in a situation like that the air you're trying to breath heated up to a super heat and that would have been what killed many.
With regards your comment about the video some of that footage is used in training fire fighters.
Another great turn out today as most would expect.
