I'm not going to say who it was on a public forum like this. That would compromise his position. So you can guess all you like.

Pandering to the wife a bit there by giving her a trip to London. Bonus points gained though by tying it in with football and making her wait till the end of March.

    Plus it doesn't matter.

It is clear the club and its operation is a total shambles.

Imagine being a pro player and getting coached by Collins? I just can't him improving any player

Chicksen is bad but now under a few weeks of Collins he's bloody awful.

The most damaging thing at the moment is the reppercutions this is having on our reputation within the game among players, agents and other clubs.

This is the reason that the ONLY way Rahic can salvage this is to bring in a manager with a reputation at this level who will be able to convince the right kind of players to come here. But who would want to take the job now (even if Rahic let him get on with it) when from the off it would be a damage limitation exercise?
We are not going to attract any decent new players under the current set-up. No one would be stupid enough to want to join this sinking ship.

Believe me mate if I’m paying for us to go to London then City have to be involved. Last time we did it City won 1-0 at Orient but then I had to sit through 3 hours of Les Miserable which you can imagine, was wank

The club cat wasn't daft, she left the same time as Parkinson. Edin did interview a number of experienced cats for the role as club cat but was turned down by every one so opted to give the role to one of the feral moggies that roam the nearby streets of Valley Parade.

Imagine that you might identify a bit more with Les Miserables now and maybe get a bit more out of it.

Thing is, it's a case of the blind leading the blind on so many levels. Rupp doesn't know football, Edin says he does. Therefore Rupp listens to Edin. Rupp has had a chance to take control, by weighing up the numbers, and deciding to put some decent money into the club, to get us a squad capable of not only staying the division, but having a real push for getting out of it. How long does he need to think about his level of involvement? Last week was a real chance - and what do we get? A nineteen year old loan player with real lack of first team experience. Oh yeah, and one of our most experienced players leaving the club. As we know that Rupp doesn't know football, then unfortunately this decision to not bolster the squad in much needed areas, but have been enforced by the man he trusts - Edin.
And if he trusts Edin, then he's not going to take action by getting rid of MC.

Edin doesn't want to get rid of MC, because that then leaves him with egg on his face. People who know football, don't want to get egg on their face. People who know football, don't want anyone else to know that no-one else doesn't want to take on the job of Bradford City manager.

MC is not going to walk away, because this is his first job as manager and he doesn't want to lose face. Abbot is not going to walk away, because he is also cut from the same cloth as Edin - he's been in the game for years, is well connected and respected among the football community, and he knows football. IF anything, he thinks he's the man for the head coach job, as he's the one doing the team talks and he's the one who has chosen these players and put the team together. As the experienced one among the three, he's the one MC relies on and seeks advice. MC doesn't want him to leave.

So it's a stand off. The only way for this to change, is if Rupp grows some balls and removes Edin. When Edin has gone, then that maybe leaves the club open to change, which in turn might make us more attractive to potential job applicants. If a experienced manager applies, then that gives Rupp the opportunity to replace MC. If the new manager comes in, then that would probably mean he'll bring his own assistant manager, which means Abbot and Drury are surplus to requirements. New manager has a look at the players he's got to work with, sets tactics and gameplan accordingly. Players start to feel more confident, and maybe that confidence turns defeats into victories.

Terrible Terrible mess. Reading what I wrote back, the real chill going down my spine, is that if Edin remains "in charge", then nothing is going to change, and we're headed in one direction. And once we're in league two with a reduced fanbase, reduced income and everything else that comes with it, maybe Rupp decides he's longer prepared to chuck anymore money into the club, and sells up, or worse just rights us off as a bad investment. Then we're in an even bigger hole, trying to find new investment when we're in the bottom tier of the football league with very little prospects.

Easy to blame MC - and he's not helping himself with his pre and post match comments, coupled with weird tactics, but the real buck stops at the boardroom door. The moneyman not taking control of the situation, and the active boardmember being stubborn as hell despite cracks appearing in every direction.

And I haven't even touched upon the players not giving their all on the pitch, even though on paper they should be pretty decent.

    HELP!

It can be moulded into a decent enough side. I have already stated without those summer signings who we only got through Collins our signings would be poor but you’re always going to get injuries.

There was a rumour a month or 2 back that some really good applicants wanted the job but none actually wanted to work for Edin. Even the Peterborough chairman tweeted tongue in cheek asking why we hadn't appointed someone. It is obvious that we are not just a joke on the pitch. If no one wanted the job early summer, why should the situation be any different now? I can only think of one person who might consider himself the best person to do the coaching. I believe he is trying for his coaching badge.

The only way anyone with any creadability would take the job is if Edin (maybe through Stefan) was told he would have no say in football matters, and for me that goes right down to players transfers, apart from the final say on what the player the manager was after is within the clubs financial constraints.

Yes, it is so easy to blame Collins and certainly he hasn't helped his own cause in the way he fails to prepare the squad for upcoming games; how he decides the questionable tactics and the unusual formation for the games; how he appears to be uninvolved during the game and how he tries to change the personnel and the tactics during the game but unsuccessfully. But he is what he is; a rookie coach with very little coaching experience in the pro game having been appointed to a job he didn't even apply for.

But Collins is merely a symptom of a deeper problem at the club and even if Rahic were to sack him tomorrow (something which I really doubt is on the table), I suspect Collins' replacement will be from the same mould. The deeper problem is Rahic and his approach in being the chairman of a lower league club wanting to change the modus operandi of English lower league football. If he can pull that off, it won't be a two second job whatever his ego is telling him and the club will continue to decline whilst his project fails. Our club is not an experiment and I hope that Rupp (rather than Rahic) is beginning to understand that. Rahic's approach is the problem and I don't expect that to change much whilst Rahic is at the helm. I only wish there were a real alternative to R&R as owners but I don't see anybody as yet rushing to replace them.

No manager worth their reputation would take the City job while ever Rahic is here.

I'm amazed anyone actually though the Collins appointment was one that could work. Sadly, he is the product of Rahic. Would you trust him to get the next appointment right, in the unlikely event he binned Collins (thereby implicating his own incompetence)? Not that anyone but a desperate fooker would touch the job. As long as he is here, we're screwed. He's systematically dismantled all the positive aspects of our club, both on and off the pitch. Couple more losses and he should be left in no uncertain terms what the majority of our fan base think of him.

Managers at Aldi get more than £30,000 a year.

We are an embarrassment to football.

My company was supposed to be sponsoring the Portsmouth game, but I’ve told them that I am pulling out and not giving the club another penny under this regeime - I suggest all other sponsors do the same. Until this clown leaves our club there is only one way we are going and it’s not up.

All the good work carried out by the previous regime has been undone in just over 2 years by one stubborn Dictator.

I really worry for our club!!!!!
