Source? I would be surprised it is that low per annum. There will be bonuses but as a basic I would be surprised would have signed up to that.

A good one Briggus from quite close to the club. I was surprised but remember he was only on circa 20k as under 18 coach so a big uplift and a chance in football management qould be the pull. Maybe he has large bonus incentives which at the moment wont be going very well will they lol.

Just read TA's interviews with MC . He "likes set backs" because you develop from them.Well,looks like he's gonna be world class by the end of the season at this rate.

He doesn't listen to stories about Killa and being told how to do things by Rahic but knows all about it.

He says he must of been good to get the job but the under 18's were losing and around 3rd bottom.Obviously not applying for the job makes him think he must be good rather than Rahic being desperate to appoint someone he can get to do things his way.

All in all,he needs to stop talking and start doing and if results improve so will his standing among the fans.

To be fair they do say you learn more about your teams after a defeat than a victory. However we need to start winning (and indeed playing better) sooner rather than later!!

Probably an entertainer third.

 

If he put has much energy in to his coaching rather than his quotes we might get somewhere...then again maybe not.

 

I don't actually object to his quotes and many cliches, they offer some amusing entertainment. And it's good he can put up a front of ignoring criticism ............ for now !!
However, it will be interesting to see how he reacts once the pressure is truly on.
IF City are 10 games in, and only a handful of points to show for it ........... Will MC be just as defiant - Or will we witness a Kevin Keegan style outburst or two ?

I genuinely feel for the lad. The stakes are high ...... any failure now could threaten his whole coaching career, before it's really taken off. I doubt I'm the only one on here who has worked under prolonged extreme pressure ? It's the way you deal with it, and how you come out the other side. It's far from pleasant, and our crowded world can soon become a lonely place to live.
I hope he has the full support of his coaching team as he negotiates these 'white water' times. I am surprised that Gregg isn't the mouth piece in more interviews, as he seems better equipped to deal with it.

Ronnie...is he really under pressure?.....i think he's carried himself quite well in interviews. People will pick out every word like they have with this interview but most people know what he's trying to say. The more stick he gets the more i want him to get it right. I don't think he's under any kind of pressure yet except what he puts on himself.....i very much doubt he's getting it from above just yet.

Can you imagine what a forum would have been like back in the season we got to the PL?......jesus i dread to think!!
