Yes, it looks like they've finally updated them to the correct price. I'll sort mine out in a moment.

Well that was an interesting experience.

My ticket cost £180.00 and the fee was £1.50, so I was charged £180.00 [what happened to the fee?].

Oh and the terms and conditions, which you tick to accept, read:

[so no terms and conditions then] :joy:

    Howzabout writing your own ...

T&Cs #1 All fees to be repaid if promotion not achieved in Season 2024/25
T&Cs #2 It applies similarly to all STs as well except where the ticket holder has more than 1800 loyalty points at the end of the season.

Come on then someone please enlighten me…what the hell is the difference between “assign tickets” and “manage tickets”

Anyone know how to buy a ticket for an age category different to your own?
As in an extra ticket for a home match?

Manage tickets allows you to renew their season tickets. Assign tickets allows you to buy a ticket for a game for them eg an away match(I think as there have been no away games on the new system yet)

Maybe you can’t anymore as this is probably one of the biggest ways the club have been ripped off over the years.
It’s been too easy to buy a kids ST or match ticket as once you’ve got the QR code the ticket scanners don’t give a toss and never check its age category.
I’m not suggesting BTW that you aren’t genuinely wanting to buy a junior ticket.

I’m trying to buy an extra ticket. So they’re genuinely going to lose out on a sale potentially.
Surely there is a facility to buy additional tickets for home matches?

Maybe it is members only now? so you would need an account for whoever it was for?

Great way to lose any chance of new customers (if that’s the case at least)

Definitely. And if you decide to leave it until the day of the match, prices go up by a fiver. Really well thought out system - not!

    Thanks

Should just be one option IMO, no idea why they have to give people 2 options for what is essentially the same thing (eg buying a ticket on behalf of F&F)

Not sure where you are looking but I’ve just tested this and been able to add a junior ticket £5 to my basket for the game tonight and could have completed the purchase quite easily.

when you go to check out it says that it is a age restricted product and to check the date of birth of the person allocated to IMG_0922.jpeg

Right so if you had a junior in your friends and family you could assign the ticket to them and pay?
I think this is obviously a new measure the club have setup to prevent an adult buying a junior ticket and cheating the club.

    yep,

as I said it looks like you would need an account for the ticket to be allocated to but weirdly it lets you allocate them to people that already have tickets so not really that good at stopping people buying tickets and abusing them

The club will have reporting tools to identify people persistently buying match tickets for a junior that already has a season ticket.

That’s madness though. My kids frequently take mates, on the Friday or whatever - can so and so come? Sure, I’ll get them a ticket.
Now that’s kyboshed, so those mates can no longer come? Unless I have to go through the rigmarole or getting their emails (or their parents emails) and setting up a new account?
I’ve dragged my mates and kids mates to matches loads over the years - god knows how much custom the club have had from people just attending ad hoc.
Now because, seemingly, the default position is one of control and suspicion, they can’t come?

Only the automation is kyboshed. You could still ring up or go to ticket office to sort it or use those QR codes at the ground.
I’m not sure if you’d still need to setup an account though.
The turnstile staff really should do better checks above just scanning a QR code. It’s not hard to just look out for a grown adult trying to use a £5 junior ticket.
