I think Tuesday should be OK but, yes, the Club could be a bit more forthcoming on the chances of a match going ahead.

That said, even after being told by Plymouth Argyle, on the Friday afternoon, that the infamous 1978 match was almost certain to be called off I still travelled down for the game. In all the years following City, weather wise, that match stands head and shoulders above all others.

Bottom line is we are a joke club who can’t fulfill their fixtures.
25000 seat stadium with a pitch no better than Thackley. embarrassing

What’s the point of a fixture list when most of the scheduled fixtures don’t happen on the date advertised.

The pictures on social media of the pitch at about 12ish, clearly showed the pitch was in no state to play on. If the club think that everyone is dumb enough to think those pictures at 12 were the result of the rain since the announcement and is wasn't close to that at 10am knowing of the forecast especially on the back of the Barrow game being off, then they really do see us as mugs.

Can't help the weather! The rain has been relentless this year, a fair few games have been called off.

Our pitch has been pretty decent the last few years, granted this season it's shite but I can't remember a year's so bad for rain. It is what it is, get over it and wait until its rearranged.

Welcome to the world of football where postponements are part of the game at all levels. It is also the reason why at the end of every fixture list it contains *fixtures are subject to change. Also it isn't most, so far this season it is only 3 home games and 1 away game which have been postponed which is less than 10% of the fixture list which is nowhere near most.

I dont keep track on other teams matches that have been postponed, so I can't compare the number.

I dont think it's that many though! Can't blame the club for a frozen pitch either

Gonna need some data over a set number of years based against the other EFL clubs. Could even prove your point may well be right.

I agree nothing we can do about the weather communications and a bit of honesty wouldn’t go amiss on this subject

It’s shameful about the hot water and again EFL should be fining the arse off the club it’s basic hygiene.

Hope EFL stick to them over the pitch it’s a mess a dangerous one at that.

I can’t agree on wanting a fine for one reason, the useless Rupp would take it out of next season’s playing budget and only the fans suffer for that. As long as Rupp isn’t having to pay anything out he doesn’t give a shit, the fans always will.
