If they put the cover on now they can either take it off later tonight or tomorrow morning rather than letting it get even worse this afternoon a lot of the drainage will also probably done under the ground, we just need the time for it to go through the drainage system.

Walsall wining again. Fair play to them
On a great run. Exactly what we need to do - keep winning and winning, put the pressure onto others.

No conspiracy theories. I posted what the club said. What Parker has said since and what the club have now come out and said just goes to prove how awful the comms from the club is at times.

The thing is Dave, it would bring us in line with other clubs at our level, some who's facilities are a lot worse than ours.
10 years of paying £100 or so under what others are charging, has deprived the club of around £10 million income.
It was a great initiative, but is now expected as the norm by fans.
Fans that will still be here when Rupp has long gone, hopefully any future owner has more of a vision and is a lover of football,
but they have been few and far between at Bradford City.
I am not holding my breath, but fans are demanding change, but have no clear idea how to go about it,or how it is to be funded , without the chairman spending money, which he does not want to.

It's got to go somewhere I assume if its runs off onto the gravel/shail it will run away from the same drains as the pitch ?.

As I posted it's given it to stop raining later this evening and no rain Sunday so it wouldn't be a problem leaving it open to the elements on Sunday then put the covers back on, having said that weather forecasting has never been great.

Well if its draining into the main drains around VP , they are most likely blocked as they will not have been cleaned out in years , just like my road, its like a bloody waterfall as they are full of leaves and not been cleaned for several years.
I did it my self a few years back to try and stop the road freezing over one winter.

Once again I can't agree Andy, the whole idea when Julian started the cheap season tickets was to generate crowds that would 3/4 fill a stadium that holds 24,000, he realised 13/14,000 City fans attending home games with the added bonus of hospitality, programs, and merchandise generated far more than 10,000 paying what other fans payed at their clubs.
I want to see our owner show a little ambition for the club and I'll be more than happy to pay more for the product on the pitch, it really shouldn't be the other way around.
As long as we hear the likes of what Ryan said in the Radio Leeds get together the more I don't see why us fans should fork out more, I'm not happy that Rupp is content to be our custodian as long as were are a sustainable club and he doesn't have to put his hand in his pocket , you show a little more interest Mr Rupp and I'm sure the fans would back the club if an increase in season tickets was required, I believe we fans have shown far more loyalty (as you would expect) during the last 5/6 season with the product on the pitch and the goings on off behind the scenes.
The above highlighted is not the fans responsibility they pay what the club request and leave the running of the club on and off the pitch to people who are getting paid to do their jobs.

Think he kept his first clean sheet for Carlisle in the last game in a rare win, could be wrong, only glanced the scoreline

Two Saturdays, over 500 miles and I still haven't seen any football.

Mind you I've had a few quality beers.

Good job you didn’t drive over, the M62 was log jammed after an accident near the white farmhouse, over an hour delay going west!

This is my third 160 mile round trip with no football. We need an honest appraisal early when the pitch is in the condition it is at the moment. Going to have the same problem on tuesday
