You can disagree all you want but the fact is that no referee will postpone a match on a forecast of rain and the EFL would never let the referee do that. Rain can change at short notice. The club did all they could, it's then up to you if you want to take the risk and travel

 

Saw a post saying we should be investigated and fined due to how many we’ve had this year and the danger of the pitch. Whole heartedly agree, the disruption and cost associated for fans is unacceptable.

It’s actually just 3. If they start issuing fines then most of league 2 clubs would be investigated and fined.

 

This is only the 2nd postponement for a waterlogged pitch and there have been a lot around the country as it has been a very wet winter. The damage was started in the Liverpool U21 game and made even worse in the Stockport game, if it wasn't for the good drainage then the Stockport game would've been postponed for a waterlogged pitch

 

You are correct about the rain this winter. Our allotment site is virtually under water. People say it is looking the worst it has for 20 years.

 

And 1 of them was for a frozen pitch when air temperatures got down to -5/6 degrees so short of spending loads of undersoil heating we couldn't have done anything else.

 

Have as many polls saying yes as you want, they are banned in the EFL.

 

he probably got to ground just after 1. Had a Quick Look and then called managers etc to the pitch did inspection and finally called it off.

not sure what the club told him earlier for them to put that earlier statement out but I was surprised by it
