    Some clubs have informal agreements for reciprocal pricing which could be what you are thinking off, Leeds are one of the clubs who push this the most which has meant that some away fans at Elland Road have only been charged £25 rather than £45+.

    Just read them now. All very well being "transparent", but why he thinks he can justify debts & increasing prices for supporters by blaming long term injured players, players not good enough for L2, and players on lengthy expensive contracts, is quite honestly pathetic. Surely it was him or his most senior staff that handed out those contracts in the first place, full well knowing they had a good chance of being relegated at the end of last season??!

    He had a right punt at the Manager earlier in the year and laid all you mention at his feet, then basically said he couldn't afford to sack him but would love to. Then formally put the club up for sale. Which it still is.
    He's entertaining if nothing else.

    That is absolutely bizarre behaviour. Hasn't Coleman been there for 10 years or something?! Doesn't sound a healthy recipe for success by any means!

    Well hopefully he does it before our match, so I can claim back the difference

    The guy seems to cry an awful lot about the trials & tribulations of owning a football club, but he is still there. If it is really that bad, cut your losses, and get out. I saw one of his tweets today about entering administration could be a possibility to halting a clubs slide into the abyss (I believe he was talking generally, not specifically about Accy but you never know). Small local suppliers beware!!

    How many people on here would have Mark Lawn back? Yet at the time I’m certain he came in for just as much criticism as Rupp.
    Maybe the fans constantly complaining should put up or STFU

    Not a chance. The guys a loose cannon, far too vocal on Twitter and the like. Very unprofessional if anything. Well run clubs are exactly that because their owners do their business in private, keep fans regularly updated via forums or the odd interview. A chairman airing their personal thoughts and dirty laundry in public is just an unwanted distraction from on-the-field matters

    Would you know how to invest in and/or run a football club? Because I certainly wouldn't know where to start!

    As a business, surely it isn't any different to saying for example train passengers shouldn't be complaining about the terrible rail service they get every day, and if they don't all club together and take over Northern Rail then they should keep schtum

    Every paying customer of any business has got a right to voice their displeasure if they are getting an inferior product/service in return

    So you could argue that an outspoken owner like Geoff Richmond or Mark Lawn are also very interested active owners?
    With that, you could say Rupp is a private person and doesn’t spout dirty laundry in public which makes him professional but uninterested.?

    You don't have to agree with Holt, I don't agree with everything he says although I find most of it good content. But hes completely transparent about the whole club, from development of the ground to accounts. He doesn't hide anything but then that doesn't fit to some fans obsession with conspiracy theories.

    £25 to stand on an open half scaffold stand. No thank you Mr Holt, I'll cheese you off by watching it on ifollow which I know he has a particular fondness of.

    People voting with their feet is what will change prices. If less than 1,000 turn up for what would usually be a 2,000+ attendance then he will lose far more money than he would have made without his £5 surcharge.
