    All this moral high ground bollox, as you allude to, if we were top 5 we'd have sold this out no problem. The low turnout on Tuesday night is a real indicator as to why we haven"t yet sold out our allocation, there is a strong feeling of apathy towards the club right now, most folk would be happy to see the end of the season and try and get enthusiastic for next season. There is still a chance we may take 7th if results go our way toward the end of the season but the general feeling amongst the support is this season has been a flop.

    It's simply down to the pricing for me. I've got a lot going on in the next 4 weeks and chose Harrogate instead of Accrington simply down to the fact that it was £44 for the 4 tickets rather than £70. It's a big difference when both ground have similar views and similar, poor facilities.

    lol why do we do it to ourselves! Everyone keeps telling me I’m too soft but I think as long as my kids remain sensible with their money, then I’ll carry on paying for things to help them on their way. Mine are 18 and 20….but I doubt they’ll be getting on the housing ladder anytime soon unfortunately

    anyway we digress

    Would you know how to invest in and/or run a football club? Because I certainly wouldn't know where to start!

    As a business, surely it isn't any different to saying for example train passengers shouldn't be complaining about the terrible rail service they get every day, and if they don't all club together and take over Northern Rail then they should keep schtum

    Every paying customer of any business has got a right to voice their displeasure if they are getting an inferior product/service in return

    One of the closest games we will have this season (in time & distance) and they're still on general sale

    I honestly cannot wait until the next time one of our uber fans pisses & moans that they cannot get a ticket for somewhere :eek:

    Folk going on about the pricing is it simply down to folk just not wanting to go ?????

    Rochdale away last season £24........3,500 ???? easily sold out.

    Crewe £25 longer distance ...........over 2,000 sold out.

    £25 to stand on an open half scaffold stand. No thank you Mr Holt, I'll cheese you off by watching it on ifollow which I know he has a particular fondness of.

    People voting with their feet is what will change prices. If less than 1,000 turn up for what would usually be a 2,000+ attendance then he will lose far more money than he would have made without his £5 surcharge.

    At the time, the Chairman was worried about giving new contracts to the Management team on the back of a relegation and he wanted to see the season develop. You can't argue with that.

    Both Julian & Mark made it very clear at the time about the situation with regards how they were running the club and not being able to fund us in the Championship, as with everything else there would have been detractors at the time, as fans we always demand more.

    Of course performance has an affect on ticket sales, that is most clubs, not just us. Our support is bloody damn good , home and away considering some of the shite we have had to endured, especially since Edin's masterclass.

    The other thing that bugs me, is I thought the agreement/rule was that a team cannot charge more than the Away team charged them? For the November game at VP, we charged them £20 for adults and £10 for U17's, with a £5 increase for matchday tickets. It seems that Accrington have just gone straight for the highest charge (so £25 and £15) despite knowing full well we will sell out and there won't be any tickets available on the day

    Shit-housing scumbags. We'd better go there and smash them now

    Not an option. If I am going to the likes of MK, Sutton & Crawley, I ain't gonna snub Accrington which is less than 50 mins drive away!

    Just read them now. All very well being "transparent", but why he thinks he can justify debts & increasing prices for supporters by blaming long term injured players, players not good enough for L2, and players on lengthy expensive contracts, is quite honestly pathetic. Surely it was him or his most senior staff that handed out those contracts in the first place, full well knowing they had a good chance of being relegated at the end of last season??!
