After watching that video by the groundsman I'd think any amount of rain may not drain away quick enough with the pitch being frozen and sodden under the surface which could put the game in doubt.

 

Pitch inspection at 7.45pm tomorrow night.
Then video confirmation from the ground staff stood next to the main stand with wellies on during a downpour.

Think it will have thawed out last night. 8 degrees should have done it. The rain is battering it down now and likely to continue on and off until Wednesday. It will be a mud bath!

No chance it’s on so much so I’ve booked a meal im that confident. Hate to be a downer but that pitch looked terrible…see what the do with it in the summer but some investment is needed with it.

I guess Mick Doyle is helping to keep fans informed. I thought his video at the weekend was really insightful and fully explained why we were called off while Farsley were able to play
