I'm not board with that one, I'm afraid.

Think Kemp didn't have his best game, but he still engineered a couple of chances for himself.

But it's his passing that's really impressed me on the highlight reels, and I've only really seen 2 or 3 top drawer passes out of Walker.

I like Walker, but I reckon Kemp is probably the better player.

A much better performance! Not going to get too carried away with the result though, Swindon is the sort of team we'd have done well against even under Hughes... what will be interesting will be how we deal with a team who turns up to park the bus and play for a point hoping to nick a goal, because they're the teams we've struggled so much against this past 5 years

And as great as Smallwood was today, he needs to keep that level up and not go back into hiding when things get tough again - I'm not having that it was all Hughes preventing him from playing as well as he should, he's experienced enough he should be grabbing games by the scruff of the neck

Maybe once we're in front as he got a lot of joy on the counter as Swindon pressed.

Against a deeper, more solid unit I'm not sure he'd have the same impact or the ability to unlock a defence in the same way as a traditional wide man.

Very good performance though, that was the Oyegoke we were promised when we signed him as a wing back.

Really hoping we see Richards, Tomkinson and Chapman feature against Grimsby in midweek. I'm willing to give Taylor another/proper chance too. Im just not a fan of Platt, sorry. Injuries aside, I don't see McDonald changing the starting 11 for Wimbledon though.

Richards back in at LB, competition for Platts shirt and Chapman as an option for the forward line - keep up performances like that and we will be ok this season.

Pretty much agree with that, however, what about Wilson? A solid 7?

Osadebe was in the squad by default yesterday - McDonald, Pattison, Oduor, Tulloch, Chapman all unavailable. He will be nowhere near the 18 in a few weeks and will be gone in January.

Ive been saying this for years. Look at the obvious mistakes and stubbornness of some of the managers we have had over the last 5 years.

Hughes wasn't a motivator, how can you not be motivated by a 6'4 McDonald doing the rallying crys in the dressing room and touchline eh. McDonald has clearly listened to his players and will be fully aware what the fans want.

You don't need alot more at this level.

Exactly this. We urged the players on yesterday as only the fans of Bradford City know how. We knew they were up against a very good side, but you play to your strengths, and the crowd up and at it is a massive strength and can get you over the line. We don’t mind being the underdog.

All the players put a shift in yesterday and we could see that and responded by cheering them on. The high press was fantastic it really unsettled the Swindon players. Special mention to Pointon and Wilson young legs who kept that up for just about the whole game. Smallwood and Gilly held a very solid midfield together. Cook although he didn’t score, he put a shift in for the team, holding the ball up and making himself available. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon; even if we had lost that match I would have enjoyed it, because it is how football should be played at this level.

I cant remember a game under Hughes where we made as many interceptions and won so many 50:50s. Much more like it.

I know many think that, but not for me. Would I drop Pointon for him, would I chuff. Maybe not Wilson either on the few cameos we have seen.
