I liked it before I got to the dig at Osadebe, not bothered who starts personally, fresh start this season for all the lads - particularly the fella that spent 70 % of last season out with a shattered leg...

Can’t see how it’s been a shambles a good weeks work in Spain followed by a match against a premiership standard team. Two games against teams with champions players where we aquittted ourselves well. And in a final warm up on the eve of the season against a team who have done well so far against league opposition. Yes it has highlighted our weaknesses as well as strengths just hope we learn the lessons. Bit Shambles? No

 

Nothing against him at all before we signed him I listened to the Wallsall fans opinion of him but was prepared to give him a chance which because of a bad tackle and injury has delayed. But after seeing him quite a bit since his return I agree with the Wallsall lot. However I hope he goes on to prove me wrong.

 

Neither could Tranmere who were well beat and Wallsall couldn’t beat them on their own ground

 

The performance from which players or team because over 20 of them played today and only 14 will have any real game time in the first match of the season.

You can't expect intensity in a pre-season game. It isn't a real game.

He's only had 1 first team start for us, Park, and that was the game he broke his leg.

I've seen players make 20-30 starts and people on here claim they 'weren't given a chance', but the lad who hasn't completed a 90 minute game?

He's not a Kai Brunker who is clearly levels below what we need, that could be figured out on 10 minutes of embarrassing blundering - I dare say we haven't seen the best of Osadebe yet...

Naturally I’d rather us win every game, but beat Crawley and nobody will remember this game. I’d forgotten we lost 3-0 last game of pre season last year until someone mentioned it on Twitter. The team is far from perfect, but it’s not a reflection on a competitive game.

 

Absolute nonsense that its been a shambles, i score our recruitment and pre season about 6 out of 10 - does anybody vastly differ either way (no response needed from RC or Trev )?

 

AFC Fylde 2 - 0 Salford City
Philadelphia Union Reserves 1 - 1 Wrexham
MK Dons 1 - 5 Coventry, then MK Dons 1 - 3 Northampton
Gillingham 0 - 4 Cambridge

I've been on to the clubs and told them not to give up, although by the sound of it most of them are resigned to relegation this season.

Also Swindon beat Plymouth 3-1, two leagues apart. Plymouth must be devastated.

Fast forward to November when we go out of the FA cup

By this time we’ll be sitting outside the playoffs, Hughes will be under pressure and fans hoping for a good January window.
