I can't believe the police are happier with the new arrangements. If we had kept to existing then Carlisle would have been in TL Dallas and F block of Midland Road, pretty much in a block that can be isolated from City fans on departure. Now they are hemmed in by City fans in block F and those leaving the Midland Road exits from the Kop. More difficult to police in the event of trouble I would have thought.

Hopefully words will be hard with the ticketing guy as well to remind him that in future, he needs to wait for others to compliment him on the job he is doing rather than jumping in to pat himself on the back and making himself look like a right melon.

Is everyone new to supporting the club? Midland Road fans have had to move for years and I know that as I had a season ticket there 6-7 years ago for several years. Stop whining all the time. Move, watch the game and enjoy it. Next season, learn to read the T&Cs.

If the club annoys you that much, stop going

You sound like that 30p Lee idiot. Refusing to acknowledge there's been a feck up and just responding with some idiotic remark like 'If you don't like it here, go live somewhere else'.

That has been in place since the ground was redeveloped from memory. One of the reasons why we never got ST’s in there even though the playing area view was better than the front of the upper Kop where we we sat for donkeys. I wasn’t prepared to be treated as the club felt fit at a whim with zero notice.

Is there an easier way of securing seats without finding it in the grey areas on the site

That blasé stupid comment doesn’t affect you does it, seeing as you don’t go in any case? At least I’m open that I’m an exile.

For what it is worth, I am a Midland Roader and have been for many seasons (E block). Moving seats for cup games and play-off games is IN MY PERSONAL OPINION a refreshing change and doesn't bother me in the slightest, although I do fully understand why some may not want to. What I do object to, however, is the fact that it was so bloody difficult finding 2 seats together in the main stand or kop. There's no way I am gonna sit right at the back of the top tier of either stand, fortunately I got 2 in the lower kop D block. I honestly cannot be bothered, nor do I have the time, to bash down the door of the ticket office and request these be changed, we didn't get bad seats in the end so it is what it is. To reflect what most other fans have said, moving from MR is not an issue, but don't then restrict all the ST seats in the other stands. All this has done is create confusion and panic. As I was booking my tickets at 8pm last night, I even said out loud "how the hell can it be all sold out in such a short time" as the club had not made it clear that ST tickets would be reserved in the main stand and kop (and before anyone has a go, I don't live on social media for constant updates). Therefore I , and many others, were panic buying whatever was available though the fear it had almost sold out. No fan wants FOMO and will do whatever necessary to secure the tickets

Marco seems like yet another tit whom we have employed, who can't wait to take praise for doing his JOB just for some likes on Twitter but soon as the shit hits the fan he goes hiding - just like Sparks did on several occasions

I am not talking about the decision, I’m talking about him bragging that it only took his team four hours to turn it round and test it etc. maybe if they had spent more time testing it then it might of worked. Not sure what testing they did as the problem should have been obvious from just logging on so either their test data is no good or the testing he talks about didn’t happen

no consultation will have been needed for the no alcohol as it is illegal for them to sell it in there due to all the seating having a view of the pitch, just like you can not take your pint and sit in the Kop or Midland Road.

The tea bar doesn’t have pumps and I don’t think it even has a license

Spot on and my sentiments exactly. I'm completely relaxed about having to move seats, but the way in which they have done this, seems so badly thought out and has suceeded only in hacking off a large proportion of the fanbase. Totally unnecessary.

The difference was that Marco has not been getting any abuse on Twitter, mainly constructive feedback - I don’t know why he’s felt the need to lock down his tweets!

Well I purchased my 2 tickets last night no problem, although our usual ST seats weren't available but not a problem as there not very good anyhow and we regularly just sit elsewhere, but 2 much better seats closer to the front of the upper main stand were available which I snapped up, but I'm pretty sure these are someone else's ST seats as these weren't available when I bought out STs, so I'm happy.

    A simple sentence like
“Season ticket holders will have until 6pm on Wednesday to reserve their usual seat”

Fans evicted from MR should have been given a period of exclusivity to secure other seats before they went on sale to everyone.

if I can think of these solutions in a matter of minutes then wtf do the staff who work at the club actually think about when they come up with these ridiculous ticketing plans.

Indeed. But there was never a need to evict anyone from the Midland Road. City could meet their obligations to Carlisle to provide 2,000 tickets using the existing arrangements. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Think he's the guy that shot Bambi's mum. The club have removed the family stand. It is natural to want to sit with your kids. The seats to do that are not available. They have prevented me from sitting with my 7 year old grandson, what a great PR exercise. Sparks is there to better his CV, clearly fans are at the bottom of his list.

Being in bed at home ill, and nothing to do with any alcohol consumed yesterday. I thought i would give this online ticketing a go. I usually just pop down, as the workshop is 5 mins away from VP.
As a complete technophobe, i found it a piece of piss, even managed to reset my password, mine and the lads tickets safely secured.
Plenty of seats available especially in E and F of the Midland and good old Norman
Roll on Sunday, lets get this job done. Up the f###ing chickens as the saying now seems to go.
