Unlikely but not impossible Crewe 0-1 City
    City 2-1 Orient
    Tranmere 1-1 Northampton
    Stockport 1-1 Hartlepool
Those four results get us up automatically.

If only Orient hadn’t rolled over and had their flip flops played with.
    Never happens that does it!!!!!!

The Stockport result is the least likely I reckon.

Hartlepool are a bit feast and famine. OK, got three today but didn't score in the previous 3 games but before that scored four. I think Stockport will be right up for it.

Tranmere away, not easy. Would back them to score but how many will Northampton get??

Looking back, Northampton have a decent record in recent matches. It was 0-0 in December when they met.

On the other hand Stockport spanked Hartlepool 5 nil earlier in the season. Hard to see them not winning. If you need hope then Hartlepool won 4 nil in 2020...

I think Stockport might go up.
Us in 4th and Northampton 5th.
I would fancy us against any of Carlisle, Salford or Northampton in the play offs

It’s definitely a long shot but strange things sometimes happen with the pressure of needing to win. I agree though that Stockport will probably beat Hartlepool and maybe get 3rd place. Might be good to get Stockport out of the play offs as they would be red hot favourites to win them.

I think Northampton will bottle it. Their defence is make shift due to injury, a team putting pressure on it will see it crack, as we did today.

Im fairly confident we'l beat Crewe

We have the ability to beat Leyton Orient, but we need to not be fecking about, like we did against Gillingham. Just because they have nothing to play for does not mean that they will roll over for us

I don't see Stockport drawing or losing to Hartlepool. If Hartlepool needed a win to stay up, I'd have hope. But they're already down an I don't see any of their players turning up to keep Stockport at bay

I think Stockport will nick the last Autos spot. We'l be playing Salford in the play offs

I was in no doubt that we had a good chance of winning today and I really had hoped Stevenage and more importantly Stockport might drop points.
I believe we’ll beat Crewe and I believe Tranmere will beat Northampton but sadly I don’t think Hartlepool will get anything at Stockport so whatever we do at home to Orient is irrelevant.

Forget any results earlier in the season, the 97th minute goal from Gills last week has killed us.

You are most probably correct but after last week I'll be delighted if we go in to the Orient game with a chance no matter how remote.
We have to take it to the final day by beating Crewe as strange results do happen.

I would play the reserves against Orient either way.

Changes of one of Northampton or Stockport not winning are mighty slim.

Yeah it’ll be great to go into the final game still with a faint chance.
We could score in the 1st minute and we’d be 3rd but that’s probably as close as we’ll get.

    Don’t be ridiculous!
We’ll only play the kids if we draw at Crewe.

Explains why Colchester were £30 million’s in debt and likewise Ipswich £130 m ! The owners don’t want it back seemingly.

I can remember the full detail anymore but it’s a cash pit!

Are you allowed to have hanging debt with no attempt to pay it off? Surely that is just as bad as what we had before and encourages bored billionaires to take over clubs then ditch it when it suits? They are running clubs and make it impossible for the supporters to have any say.

The system of ‘sponsorship’ as a means of boosting your income, is a simple route. Manchester City are sponsored by Etihad. So Etihad pay an enormous sum to sponsor them and the figure counts as income.
Smaller clubs like Fleetwood are sponsored by a Utilities company, who appear to be tied in with the owner.
Similar with Forest Green and Ecotricity…..who just happen to be owned by……
Th sponsorship system, is a means of enhancing the income of a club, which you could argue are not commercial. If the sponsors are prepared to pay huge amounts, then they can do so, subject to FFP rules.
The result is that some clubs have budgets way beyond the size of their support and income from more traditional streams.

It's a bit early to be on the lash Captain, then again I didn't fancy us getting more than a draw at Northampton, football eh ;).
