I think we will be 8th going into the Northampton game after Mansfield play their game in hand on Tuesday.

Sad to say but that will have knocked the stuffing out of them.

Salford have been mighty jammy of late with very late goals , playoffs is looking touch and go with Mansfield's great form, but Salford have got two tough games with Carlisle and Gillingham.

 

I do think we lack bottle imo, today Mansfield and Crawley in particular stand in the mind.

Unfortunately, a win for Northampton guarantees promotion. Ideally we need two wins from our final 3 games. It's very much not the ideal situation.

These 2 players are not the reason we might not make playoffs.

Thoroughly disappointed with that the first half was atrocious the defence was all over the place.

Today was the tale of the season as others have said poor one half of football and decent the next half. If you can't put in consistent performances you don't go up. Playoffs even look difficult now to me and even if we get there I wouldn't be super confident we'd go up.

Good to see Cook get back on the score sheet though!

Lewis made two very good save after we went 2 - 1 up but I had jitters every time Gillingham had a corner he's a big lad who should be getting to ball like the one for the equaliser, gutted once again Cook gets us out of jail with very little service, and to be fair I thought bringing Platt on was the right call but lets not forget that shocking first half where we could have been 3 down, we looked frightened to death today first half, I worry for our last 3 games after our first half performance Northampton, Crewe and Orient, I hate to say it but it could be another season at least in this league.
