    Can’t afford to slip up on Saturday or we’re probably out of the top 7. I think Mansfield will beat Stevenage on Saturday and Salford will beat Walsall. Stockport are a certainty to see off Rochdale and Northampton will see off Harrogate. If we fail to beat Gillingham then the league table will look grim for us.

    As much as I like incentives to encourage the more "fair-weather" supporters and fill the stadium, I really wish the club would have just sold tickets for this game for a fiver, regardless of whether you have bought a ST for next season. It seemed to work fine when we did it earlier in the season

    It is just a hassle for ST holders! :joy:. I now have my mate who wants to go, plus some in-laws who want to take their kid for the first time but it is me who has to either go to the ticket office (which I don't have time to do) or buy it online for them, which then incurs a web fee per ticket. Can I really be arsed? Not especially but I will

    Yep, the web sales fee really annoys me too.

    I buy away tickets for at least 7 or 8 of us so that's either another £10+ on top of my tickets or the embarrassing moment of having to ask my brother or daughters boyfriend for an extra £1.50.

    I get we need a sales fee but why not £1.50 per transaction rather that ticket?

    I've just been reading the EFL's regulations on this. 'Local' promotions, without the consent of the away Club, are no longer permitted.

    Regulation 35.3.11 states "Subject to Regulation 35.3.7, discounts or special promotions (in each case for up to a maximum of 4 matches in one promotion) made available to supporters of the Home Club must also be made available on a similar basis to visiting supporters."

    Regulation 35.3.7 states "A Club may not depart from the Pricing Plan without the prior consent of the relevant Away Club. In the event that the Home Club and Away Club are unable to reach agreement the dispute shall be referred to The League whose decision shall be final and binding."

    There is additional guidance which states "Under the Regulations should any Club wish to offer promotions or discounts for a specific match or across up to a maximum of 4 matches they must either (a) offer the discount or special promotion on a similar basis to visiting supporters or (b) seek the permission of the visiting club to run the promotion for home fans only. In the instance that an agreement cannot be reached it should be reported to the League for consideration."

    So, it seems either Gillingham or the EFL must have agreed to this promotion.
