I'll be interested to watch how Callum Guy does for Carlisle, a player I believe is out off contract in the summer and would like us to go for.

Did a decent job for us a few years ago in league 1 as a youngster. He's got a high energy game and he seems to have improved alot on the ball whenever I've seen him play recently. He's won player of the year awards in recent seasons and I believe he's their captain too, so would be exactly what we need.

 

Callum Guy and Jordon Gibson who seems to have matured nicely make up part of a good midfield for them

 

Simpson is concerned by the state of our pitch. I know it wasn’t great due to the weather against Rochdale but overall it has stood up well

Pitch will be perfect for them as they didn't play much football when we played them boxing day. That said they were still way better than us, arguably our worst performance of the season

 

i am more worried about the state of our players. The pitch has been fantastic.

Postponements are already racking up, and with -2c temperatures all night right through until lunch time tomorrow, you can forget the game being on.

 

What time is the pitch inspection

 

Hopefully the game is on and city bag the 3 points, don't care if its a scrappy 1-0. I need a bit of a lift after a tough week.
Carlisle boss saying they need to silence the big crowd and we are only any good to the team when winning.
Lets make a wall of sound and prove him wrong fellow city fans.

 

That's exactly what McCardle said before the Harrogate game at Christmas. "Everyone knows if you go to Bradford and quieten the crowd you usually win".
Think it will be very quiet today, currently -3c and below 0c until after 10.00 am. Suspect an early inspection to stop Carlisle travelling, or at least not too far and thus saving their expenses. As previous post matches will fall like flies this morning in my view. There have been hard frosts most nights and although our pitch has been covered all week, Mick Doyle will have had a tough job after the Rochdale game did for it.
Hoping we are on but fear the opposite.

He’s basically correct. It appears like a morgue at times. Lots of other clubs fans try and spur their team on if behind….A lot of our crowd just keep quiet and sulk

No matter how poor we were in those days, we still had a go .

 

It's currently -4c outside. The pitch is frozen solid.

You would have to be seriously deluded/naive to think this game will go ahead today.

 

I hope they get their finger out and let us know if their is an inspection some of us have to travel a fair distance
