Apologies I thought you were disagreeing with both statements. Having said that, personally I don't think he stopped trying to play....he just lost the ability to play. But that is just my opinion

Not sure how you lose your ability to play over a 2/3 week period, something happened around that time it's been discussed on here many times, I believe Vincelot was part of the group of senior pros who down tools, so much so that it took Simon Grayson more or less all his time at the club to make them see sense, of course with a little help from the away following at Blackpool.
Yes we all have our opinions on the situation, I think the club would be happy to move Vincelot on if possible.

yup - it's all about opinions. That's what we are on here for. It would be boring if we all agreed all the time. Anyway I am right :)

But if they are injuries, they usually announce that in press conferences. A little detail about playerX nursing a sore calf and not expected to be out too long; playerY has a reoccurrence of an old injury etc

But saying nothing indicates they aren’t injured and simply being frozen out. Surprised the likes of Parker hasn’t been digging for this type of update

Before becoming unsettled, he looked like the only player we had who could move up a division. He takes up good positions, holds play up well, brings team mates into play, always takes 2 defenders so freeing up someone else AND he scores goals. Unfortunately, in his present frame, he is neither use nor ornament to us so indeed, will be no big loss.

    I don't do twitwat.

He is an employee of Bradford City. He withdrew his labour (as is his right) but if he is being paid (which he is) then his behaviour was wrong.

And I would happily debate that point with him or anyone else but I think we have exhausted the subject.

We've had this discussion before but look at it from this angle. Club says "if you feel any kind of tweak, come off". For a couple of reasons, he has been feeling a "knock" over last couple of weeks, club don't want to risk either a, being crocked and unable to play when it matters or b, being crocked and thus the club might lose a sale.

Agree if the club aren't giving details of their injuries then you have to think there are other motives why said players are not getting game time.

He got injured and was subbed. Why was his behaviour wrong? He was injured, bit like if someone is sick and they call in work.

And that is where we part ways. He wasn't injured to the degree he needed to be subbed.

He took a knock, played an awful ball and decided HE had to much to lose by playing on and decided he couldn't continue.

It has nothing to do with an 'injury' and everything to do with a hoped for move.

Let's not play games here. The lad wants out and he wont be the first player to play dirty tricks to force a more and he won't be the last.

If we manage to get around £800k for Wyke, we should just offer that to Bristol City for Matty Taylor, proven goalscorer at this level and as they got him for £250k cant see them turning it down.

Not true at all. Historically it's always been shared as to who is injured! Most manager press conferences start with those kind of questions.

The club had no need to play him if they believe there could be £600,000+ hanging an appearance in a friendly, the club will know what sort of money they are going to get from this transfer, if its anywhere near the figured they'd take, why risk him.

Prudential, were and still are an Insurance and massive Financial Services Company.

Some building societies carried the name "Beneficial" or "Permanent" in their title. You are thinking of the Provincial Building Society (formerly I think something like the 3rd Bradford Permanent Building Society) who were initially merged with The Burnley Building Society to form National & Provincial and later swallowed by Abbey who became at that point Abbey National in (??) 1984 and later became Santander.

Some building Societies were also "terminating" ones that ended when all their members had been built a house. The last of these being the Salisbury who wound up in 1980.
