Based on what though , Odusina is getting all this praise after having one good game against us what's to say he wasn't that good for the other 40 odd games. Meanwhile we sign Romoney from Huddersfield and slate him for a poor 45 minutes but Swindon fans are gutted he didn't go back to them.

In all honesty we “knew” this lad and knew he had been released by Boro, yet we chased and completed the signing of the Huddersfield loanee. Says something to me…,we weren’t and aren’t interested.

He would also want tidy wages!

I imagine they will start off with a few wins but as everyone watch and put plans in place on how to beat them they will not have the resources to change or the skill level.

 

I'm not slating anyone, I just see the need to bring in another CB. Do we really want to run the risk of Romoney being recalled in January and having to find a replacement then, when there are some very decent options available right now.

 

Unless we're going 3 at the back and getting rid of Kelleher and putting Songo'o in midfield. Pretty sure Hughes has quite often gone for 3 at the back at most of his clubs.

Odusina got 5 MOTM in a row for Hartelpool and is highly rated by their fans. He is more than capable.

 

Mmm,that's what they said about Sutton,and I reckon Stockport will have a lot more resources than them.

 

Yes but with much better players, can you do that in all seriousness at this level religiously ?

 

We\'re all talking alot about players other clubs have signed, but I bet you fans at virtually every other L2 club are looking extremely enviously at us for getting Richie Smallwood and Jamie Walker.

It's miles away from the east Midlands. On that basis Sheffield is east midlands

Bugger me, I've just looked up east midlands as a region. What a bizarre area. Almost a quarter of England taking in Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Notts, Northants, Rutland, Leicestershire and a bit more.

I stand corrected, though on the geographical description Sheffield is lucky not to be included as Chesterfield and Dronfield are.

 

I know you are not on your own. I just don’t see it myself. They could win the league or get promoted. We have been struggling for a few years to get out of this league, just don’t understand. Time will tell.

 

As a previous poster said,it's a lot to do with momentum.They will be on a high at the start of the season,and they could be drawing crowds only second to us in the division.They also have a very good manager ,I can see them doing well.
