    Could be a tough league if Stockport and Wrexham come up. A lot of northern clubs fighting for players.

    You'd expect Donny and Gillingham to do OK too. Swindon will have a chance to recruit a proper squad as well.

    Sparks talks about missed opportunities and last season definitely was.

    I like the way the new signings come out of the blue with no rumours, The club playing things very tight as regards new players,
    We still need another CB and a commanding midfielder along with another striker

    I noticed that Ryan Sparks mentioned matching offers on the table to players. Surely we can't be competing with Championship clubs on wages etc.

    Under 23 wages we probably would. Can't see Watt or Paudie playing regularly in the Championship at this stage. Maybe in a few years time.

    Sold 6,000
    900 of which are new
    8, 000 still to renew.

    Encouraging as it’s over a 1,000 up on last year’s timescales

    City can compete with any offer made to players by clubs above
    Bigger squad budget than last season
    Marketing has brought in £1.1m …a record for the division

    Worth a listen.

    I suppose it depends on what offers are being made from clubs above. If it's say 4k a week for any of POC, Vernam or Watt, are we honestly saying we couldn't get better by spending the same amount on a replacement?
