    Work on my City stats and records files, make music, look after the garden, continue the never-ending fight with the local rabbit(s) who have now pruned so severely my just-planted blueberry bushes that I'm not sure they'll survive, work on the house, continue the genealogical researches, and make more music. Just another typical day at RCB Towers...

    Wife wants another, but the prices for pups from the gun dog breeder where we get her from only 4 years ago are absolutely crazy stuff.

    I said she could but…… ouch!

    I know but when I retorted, that’s twice the cost of insurance, twice the cost of annual injections, twice the amount of food etc etc etc etc, I secretly gulped.

    Its the dog training side of things she loves, in all honesty. She’s done a remarkable job with ours. The dogs “find” and retrieve is brilliant. I think she will get another but……….

    Travelling round California next week followed by a few nights in vegas, come back go to a wedding then off to Mallorca. I’ve had to book some trips to get over what has been a dreadful season!

    Sounds like a great summer to me!

    Nothing interesting planned over pre-season myself. We went away over Easter so no hols planned over pre-season. Will be going horse racing in between getting dragged out to playgyms/farms/shopping for the foreseeable I think.

    It’ll soon be August!

    Got this one 4 months ago when she was 5 months old, we've had labs all our lives, usually 2 but at one time 3...
    They have all been brilliant/clever but this one is something else (in a good way), we got her for £1k...

    Ibiza this Saturday with the boys.
    7.30am flight out
    5 days and nights of partying.

    After that weekends spent up in the lake district, lots of walking, shagging and Tom foolery.

    I thought shags can only be found off the rocky coasts of Southern and Western Europe, not up in the Lake District? Good luck finding a shag - unless you are gonna take one of those gun dogs along with you....

    Ibiza with the boys a few years ago, great 7 days plenty of booze, sun and some bonking. Ahhh to be single again!! Stag do last week in Prague with the same lads brought it all back!
