Cricket and horse racing

 

Have BT Sport stopped the broadcasting of Speedway I used to enjoy it on a Saturday evening more so when Tai Woffinden was at his best, looks EuroSports are now covering it.

 

I'm not sure what the wife has planned for me .

 

Nigel Pearson passed away a few weeks ago, he was the main commentator on Speedway for years, did darts and football too. Sad loss l, a very good and knowledgeable guy on soeedway

With Premiership, Playoffs, FA Cup and CL final, there’s still football to watch until the end of May. Pre-season starts end of June and if we’re as ambitious as Sparks and Hughes are making out, the pre-season games could be well worth a watch.

So only a month or so of no real football to speak of. To be fair, my wife’s a patient one when it comes to the amount of time I’m either working or watching football, so I’ll use the month to pay my penance, do some DIY or be dragged round shops or whatever. Probably. Maybe.

Afternoon walks with the new baby (Albert), preferably a sunny beer garden en route. Also I’m opening a new bar up in June, so will be nice and busy. It’s a bit different over here, cos the time difference makes it 5pm kick off, which means I’ve generally got time to do daytime/afternoon stuff, and still watch the game.

 

I fell out of love with the game when they started 10/20/40 overs b*llocks.
