Just to keep with tradition do people think this wil be Truman’s only game in charge-meaning Oldham game prompts Bradford City manager change again?

 

I think he'll be in charge until at least the beginning of March.

 

Maybe Harrogate at home as well.

Sparks won't want it dragging on too long because if Trueman wins a few he'll be under pressure to appoint him again.

 

That sums a big part of our problem up perfectly. Don't do something sensible and with a better chance of success to appease the boo boys.

So essentially they said nothing of any substance then? Take our time and appoint the right person. Someone who understands the club - what does that mean? Someone who can connect with the fans - to avoid getting sacked for longer so they have a feckin chance in hell?

Just referencing the soundbites that pundits come up with which essentially mean nothing whatsoever, have no substance, and help nobody in terms of recruitment.

They do fill an hour on the radio - just don't bear them any credence.

 

Yeah I know what you mean. An hour felt a bit long in the end in terms of that programme. Most just agreed with each other by the end of the hour. Became pointless

 

See the bookies and some fans advocating Evans as our new manager with what has happened in the last few months we don’t want another devisive figure

 

Sparks knows the history between Evans and the club and fans. There is no way he would risk contemplating employing Evans and making it even more toxic at Valley Parade. Surely?

It's not that he even has a recent good track record.

 

A few back to back wins and you lot would be kissing Evans exposed body parts!

 

And if he lost a few they might be chopping if off

 

If we appoint Evans then I will get a Lincoln season ticket next year. Woodgate or McCann would be Ok. Would prefer a more adventurous appointment of a young coach such as Wild. This Adam Owen bloke looks very interesting - really well qualified despite never having been a manager.

 

Evans could be a risk free short term appointment with a point to prove, if he pulls up trees 99 percent of fans will get behind him, if he doesn’t bye bye and no impact to season ticket sales.

Will he be a decent manager to the team and support the players, that’s more that Adams for starters. A bit of controversy doesn’t make him a monster, some of you lot really do need to move on. If there is a better manager for the job so be it but I’m not sure we are best placed to judge the person.

 

I don't think he does support his players. A big gripe when he left Rotherham was that it was all about him, with never any praise for the players.

If you watch any podcasts from his former players, they're not overly enthusiastic about him!
