Should be someone like McCann but how desperate is he for a job right now?
Wouldn't mind the lad at Boreham Wood but having paid compo for Adams for only 8 months of employment are we really gonna splash more money out?

 

The guy is so far out of his depth it’s unbelievable. I’ve stopped getting angry now - poor guy is so pathetic I feel sorry for him.

 

We are going to destroy the career of another young coach who had a lot of promise when he was with the youth squad. We have already ruined Sellars chances of success in football and the same will have happened to Trueman by the end of this season.

 

Whoever gets the job sparks and Rupp absolutely need to improve. We need a clear vision, and to make the decisions that then support that vision. Whether it's a 3 year plan or whatever, just state that and work towards it. No more bs soundbites in the summer or running into the January window if you've got no plans to back it up. Get a DOF, bring in a young manager with an entertaining style and just get the lads playing for the shirt - folks are more likely to give them time if we're actually being entertained.

We've tried "proven at this level", we've gone for dinosaurs, nothings worked and that's largely due to the lack of clear planning from the top. Try something new, try creating a vision.



But what do I know, sparksy will just give truman a 3 year deal and sack him this time next year.

Neil Warnock has always wanted this job and has known to have applied earlier in his career when GR was chairman

 

Another long shot but Warnock on talksport yesterday said he would take a league 2 club on.

He's right to support him and say some supportive words. He can hardly say nothing, can he? That would be weird.

You're jumping to conclusions a bit but to play devil's advocate to your hypothetical scenario.... Let's say in the next five games we win 3 or 4 and draw the other 1 or 2. What would you do then?
