    I’d rather a replacement for Canavan if I’m honest. We need a bit of pace at the back to enable us to push further up the pitch.

    Is Staunton worth a go if we don’t bring in a CB?

    seeing how Adams has chucked FCD under a bus at the weekend I’d be surprised if he did, but he’s certainly quicker than Songoo and Canavan.

    if we have to pick one or the other It’d be a RB as priority for me, but do agree we also need more pace at the back too.

    Hopefully see Evans lease today. Waste of a wage and I’m sure he wants football, ROD sold. think FCD and Staunton will leave on loan. Maybe something suprising regarding Elliot Warr.

    I think he means the groundwork has been done already and the players he might bring in are ones already on his radar, he’s not gonna be actively researching new potential signings today.

    Can't see any players leaving. They've got contracts on decent wages, may as well get the money than move on a lower wage. In the summer they can tell the usual story of the Manager didn't like them and pick up a new contract elsewhere.

    Until we actually get better at researching players that fit in with a system, we're always going to end up carrying a few that don't fit in. Equally, if we're taking the punt on players with tricky injury histories like Angol, Ismail then we'll always run the risk of losing them for a period.

    I feel for Evans. He's not the worst player at the club and we desperately need a right back, which is a position he has played with success higher up the league. He couldn't be any worse than Threlkeld and at 34 he needs to be playing.

    He had a bit of beef with Adams before he arrived didn’t he?

    agree a move suits all parties. He’s only got one/two years of his playing days left and it’s no fun benchwarming.

    must be one of the highest earners here too. Maybe one of the wealthy NL clubs might take a punt……
